  • Damn great! I can buy one right now for 250,- but is it only built for metal shredding?
Let's hear it undistorted for one time.

  • I want to think that it is almost the same as the brand CORT X6, tone push-pull; 2 hambuckers and a single coil, floyd rose, 24 jumbo frets, made in indonesia and that is at the height of a ibañez guitar

  • Got one of these. They're fantastic. Haven't ever had a problem with mine and I've put a purple burst around it now too, to add a little more colour

  • bought one for cheap!
lag is going out of business so I snagged one at a steep discount.
    french design!
some say these are similar to ibanez.
    its a shred guitar!

  • Hi Rob,
Can you please help me decide between the LAG Arkane Serie 200 and the Gibson SG Special Faded Worn Cherry because I just can't decide???!!!!!! Please reply as soon as possible, thanks!!!!!

  • True, but you can adjust the $2000 guitar for free to exactly how you like it and it'll sound better to some degree. And yeah LAG guitars are all incredibly good quality, (well, in the uk at least) but i have done up cheap(er) guitars before. I recently took a £200 Cort and fitted new pickups and completely set it up. I still prefer the more expensive guitars i have played and own (like a £1600 Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus and the £700 LTD). I still love my LAG though, just not as much as those.

  • no no no no NO! I hate it when people do this and say an entry-level guitar (such as your LAG) plays as well as a $2000 Ibanez, because the truth is that its down to either opinion (you might prefer the neck, action, and entire setup of the lag) or how the ibanez was set up when you tried it. The $2000 Ibanez will always be the better guitar in this situation, in the end its your opinion of the set up. I own a LAG too, an earlier incarnation of the one in this video, but I prefer my £700 LTD.

  • Please bring back the Lag Arkane A200ST in Royal Blue Shadow, please! It was a perfect guitar… why stop making them? I so badly want one… Rob, please tell me you can still order them somehow, somewhere!

  • @TheSonOfBodom the pickups are only covered in older series, the actual serie has the three pick ups open
Maybe you can buy an older serie if you want covered pickups,
he did not take them of

I hope i´m right, but anyway, this is a great guitar with covered picks or without them, you are getting good stuff, trust me!!

    hahahaha

  • Hi. great review, awesome tone and superior playing! do you know where these are made? I consider buying one, but they seem kinda cheap, so i was wondering if all the lag guitars are made in france, or are they made in china/korea etc?

  • Hi, i´m planning on buying this guitar but one question: on pics in the online shops there are pickup covers on the pups. but in your review the pups are open and on some pics in the net they´re, too. ´cause i like the typical emg pickup cover it looks better than open pups. i´ll still buy it but i just wanna know if you took them off or something like that.

  • My LTD has a Floyd Rose Special, but mine hangs loose, even though i tighten it all the way. I havent had to tune it since I bought it about a month and a half ago

  • Is there a massive difference in quality between the 200 series and the 500 series?

  • i got this guitar for christmas after watching this video and it is an absloutly amazing guitar

  • is this guitar better than the Ibanez GRG170DX? In cost-performance ratio & quality/sound/ect.?

  • the headstock would look unbelivably awsome without the bottom bit, but it still looks realy cool.

    Reply
  • i think personally the headstock would loock better if he just cut out the but at the bottom that he has recessed …..maybe thats me ……..but then again it probably would need reinforcing in that case.
