Laney Lionheart L20T 112 | Review
This issue, Sam Bell takes a look at Laney’s single-ended, Class ‘A’ all-tube combo: the Lionheart L20T-112. As with all of Laney’s range, (that are designed and engineered with pride in Great Britain) the emphasis is on creating clear, crisp, dynamic guitar tones, and this 20-watt powerhouse is surely no exception.

Wonderful demo ????????????
Sadly, this sounded so much better in the room, and whoever recorded it, missed all the sparkle. Muted and Veiled with all the life sucked out. Please re-do this! Your playing and what it could sound like deserve better!
Dudes a gun!
hi, how much clean headroom ?
Would the L20 be too much for a house playing or the L5 perhaps more suited for that?
Laney was never on my radar, but I looked at the specs of this amp, checked out a few videos with headphones, but this demo has sold me. There have been times when American companies have done British tones better, and times when British companies absolutely nailed American tones and added a little something extra. This amp is of the latter. It's like a Fender amp with Vox controls and tone shaping, and superb tone the whole way through. This amp reacts in the way I'd expect a true vintage Deluxe Reverb to respond. Amazing.
Your playing is fantastic, why are you using that toneless piece of wood??
which one is better in tone. LC50 or Lionheart L20t first verson?
I don't usually like so much whammy, but this just sounds dreamy. Beautiful playing
Responsiveness and articulation for days.
In love with your playing and the amp. Sold it. What mic is this?
I own the Lionheart L20h and the amp is stunning.
Do Laney amps seem to clip early or is it just me?
Is it loud enough for gigging?
Are these really made in the UK?
love the clean channel for sure !
A really good and educational review thank you.i think it might be better for me to sell up due to your excellent playing lol !
Great playing
You might consider changing the title of the video
Sam!!????????????
Great punch and tone even with YT's audio. Nice demo. Would consider this over the bigger names.
wow some beautiful tones there.
Sounds fantastic! And the playing: WOW!!
