  • Wow! Awesome review!! I just ordered one but I’m curious , how will I run this in my pedal chain? I plan on placing it on my board. I do use a Sans Amp bass driver – so I’m assuming through xlr, but unsure?

    Thanks

  • Sounds great however, I’m not a fan of how it sticks out like that, I feel like something could break it, great solid review

  • Another dude, Dawson music I believe says you can get a right angle adapter to move the transmitter away from the electronics and kill the noise of active pick up interference. I just ordered the Boss version of this and already bought the adapter for $5 dollars in case it happens when it arrives.

  • Only negatives 1. Cant select channels 2 no off switch on the transmitter and 3 weird noise when I activate 10db boost on LP Trad Pro 2. Great for practicing at home not sure about it for preforming

  • I'm picking up a new P-bass soon and wanted a decent budget wireless setup with it so I don't have to be tethered to my band's PA, and this review has been the deciding factor. Thanks for your time and info.

  • Thanks for the thorough review! I had no idea this product existed until I saw it in the store today; I took a frivolous leap of faith and bought it, but once I got home I realized I had better research it a bit. Your review eased my trepidation. So far the G10 works fine with my Fender basses! By the way, looks like you got a really nice set-up, I'm jealous. I'll check out your other vids. Rock on, man!

  • Hi Jayme, nice vid. Did you find out what was causing inteference noise on Aguilar pups/ pre amp? I have same problem on a mid boost pre amp on my guitar. I've just removed it for the minute, so I can use the g10. 🙂

  • Very good video! The question here is, would you be confortable making a professional album with it? I'm thinking of getting one to record an album with it.

  • based on your review, I bought it. tested it with several basses and both amps (genz shuttle 9.2 and mesa subway) and it performed flawlessly… I took it to a jazz gig and plugged it into my upright (the guitar player was running one too unbeknownst to me) and once again, it performed flawlessly. really cant beat it for the price. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

  • Hey thanks, for the in depth review. I have had mine for a couple months now. I play bass in a three piece band. It has worked well for me, at home and in live performances. Other than the obvious cons of it, being the straight plug, vs a 90 and the power supply for the base, the other issues I have found is, it does not work in my acoustic guitars at all. After reading through a bunch of different reviews through different site, I found one that mentioned using a 1/4 stereo to mono adapter cable, as a fix for that. Which negates the benefit of having this wireless all together. It has to do with what kind of 1/4 female Jack is in the guitar, I guess. I have not tried it out myself, as I either have to buy that cable or make one, but will be looking into further. I think it is a great product. The convenience of it, is awesome. Will be nice to see the next generation of it, or a competitors.
