  • The live stream was great, Janek. Great to re-watch and re-discover hidden gems that we may have missed first time round.

  • Miss the live streams. It provides an opportunity for the regular bass player/musician to access the thought process of someone operating at the highest level in this domain. Unfortunately, the fan base spends a lot of time on non sense questions like string gage, pick thickness, and signal chain. I understand those types of questions can have value but live streams seem to be a revolving door of those surface level questions on repeat. Keep up the good work JG. I hope I can catch the next one and contribute to the convo beyond "how high is your action?" ????

  • Wonderful steam, Janek. If you don’t mind me asking, what is your method for using your “real camera” as a webcam? I have an older Panasonic LUMIX G7 and an HDMI capture card that I use when I teach online lessons, but I’m always curious to see if there are some updated methods to improve quality or workflow. Thank you!

  • I had this on at work earlier, you mentioned raising the action at some point & I immediately knew why I wasn’t feeling my new (used) bass. Made the adjustment and it’s 10x better for me.

  • Bummed I missed the stream, new listener and fan, fellow bassist all my life. Love your style altogether, just finished the podcast episode with Ian Allison and found it extremely relatable and uplifting.

  • I missed the live stream, but great to watch it back! I’m not sure if this would be in the near future, but the Bay Area would love to see you and Bob Reynolds at the Black Cat or Keys Jazz Bistro at some point. ????
