Löwenherz Basses Majesty Clarke 5-String – No Treble

Löwenherz Basses Majesty Clarke 5-string Bass

This week we’re checking out a real stunner. Although it has plenty of amazing features, probably the first thing you’ll notice about this Löwenherz Basses Majesty Clarke 5-string is its custom handmade brass lionhead sustainer bridge. L.A.-based dealer Bass Exchange/Amp Shop, who is selling the bass, says the 330-gram piece adds tons of sustain.

The bass is built with a swamp ash body and a quilted maple top that is stained in black. Its bubinga and maple neck has an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets adorned with Abalone diamond inlays.

Löwenherz fits the Majesty Clarke with three of their Magic Bucker pickups. “You can split the coils and then you will have six pickups in general,” Löwenherz writes. “With these six pickups you can create sounds from precise Jazz sounds up to extraordinary positions – everything is possible. For each coil you have a separate On/Off-Switch. That makes it easy to explore new grounds, if you are ready for.”

As if that wasn’t enough control, the bass is fitted with a Noll fully parametric EQ.
