A fretless bass would kill microtonal music. Im surprised you didn't talk about the slab at the end of that neck.

So I was introduced to microtonal guitars. Someone said they only made 6 string guitars or 4 string bass. So that was wrong. Love Gizz

So do you write all the basslines for the songs? Does stu write them and you learn them? A bit of both? Also what would you recommend a new bassist in terms of learning more about bass as an instrument and it's role in music?

I had a crybaby bass wah and hated it. I switched to a Morley dual bass wah and i love it.
Only finding this now, but damn, hearing it isolated like this really makes it apparent just how rich and meaty this bass sound is. It also heavily contributed to my particular enjoyment of the song Magma on the recent IDPLMAL record.
