Mad Professor The Green Wonder- A great alternative to the common Tube screamer.
Mad Professor The Green Wonder- A great alternative to the common Tube screamer.
Hi, and welcome back to the channel! Today, I will investigate Math Professor Green Wonder – a unique overdrive and boost pedal. Different from the classic Tube Screamer concept, this one works on amps that you already like the sound but want more overdrive, making it great for guitarists to shine their amps without coloring them excessively.
Thumbnails What do you expect from this?
Testing the Green Wonder through various amps: Mesa Boogie TC-100, Marshall, and Bogner.
Red (Lead), Blue (Crunch), and Clean Channels A/B comparisons on two amps.
Pedal interaction with amp EQ settings.
Who this pedal would work for – all kinds of metal, blues, hard rock, etc.
If you are looking for a boost pedal that does its work without having the tonal change on the amp, then perhaps the Green Wonder is for you!

Awesome comparison! ????
Thanks for the detailed review!
Awesome demo!
Very thorough demo, Love that you explored it on several different amps
Thank you Ken for the great review! You really nailed the point that the pedal is aimed for: Being a different alternative to the Tube Screamer type circuit and most of all preserving more of the characteristics of your existing rig.
A different flavour than the TS. Thanks for the info! ????
A solid review, as always! The way the pedal preserves the integrity of the amp while packing a punch is impressive.????
That's a killer review, Ken!
Nice review indeed!
Clarity is something I love about this one! The amp's tone is preserved while being served a boost. Beautiful explanation, Ken!
Wonderful breakdown! The Tube Screamer vibe was what I expected, but this has its character. Great comparison! ????
Impressive demonstration, Ken! I appreciate the retainment of the amp's natural tone!
