  • Dear Sirs from Andertons, I love your videos, thank you for what you do! I would like to ask if I can use my Marshall DSL40 as a cabinet? Do you think I could use other Marshall valve heads with it and what goes well with the speaker? Maybe it is a good idea for a video?

  • Congrats Marshall….For people not aware…80% of the company was just sold to a Chinese conglomerate… They already lost the market and any innovation…but here comes the real China Junk…….WOK and WOLL????. Spend your money on a smaller amp company….Friedman, Bogner, Suhr, Fryette…etc.. You want a Marshall…buy used……

  • I have a feeling Fluff had a job with Marshall before the whole gibson/ mesa dropping him… i bet you it was more him dropping them than the other way around…

Just a silly rumor spread by the internet…It was just an excuse to justify hatetred towards Gibson by the public… kinda petty

  • 4:28 – Correct. There's just no way around using proper speakers, as that's not only what you hear in the end, it also matters for the interaction between the amplifier and the speakers, as well as (to a lesser extent, but not insignificantly) the interaction between the speakers and the cabinet. – I never understood, other than the practicality for recording and also space and volume (people often just live in shared spaces or apartments), the whole "direct in" and using digital stuff and then out of studio monitors. – I can get with like emulation/modeling/etc. and then into like a larger flat-response guitar-speaker/cabinet a bit more, which is great for versatility. – But even though I personally tried ignorantly to get multiple sounds out of one speaker or amplifier that's very neutral, it just doesn't work. – This took forever for me to realize, or even to be able to try (cause I didn't always have the money or space), and once I finally got your standard V30, I understood the sound. Like "There it is!", the "toan" you've heard on a zillion recordings, even on ones you didn't think it was. The same for the G12T-75, for which I actually got a 2×12" Marshall-cab recently, there it was, the sound of Maiden, Yngwie, Satch, and so on. Of course not entirely, but you can tell it's a huge chunk of it, even with a different rig into it.

  • RIP Marshall – Get in quick and grab existing stock before the new company turns it into rubbish

  • If Marshall had any sense they would create a new power amp that was just the power section from a JCM800.

  • And you see the hilarious direction Marshall is STILL headed. Sad. They use to be a good company and product.
