  • Flexible amp. Great to have the extra channel. I find the sound a little 'boxy' though when gigging (acoustic & vocals). The demo above is purely a guitar demo when it's an amp for vocals too. Sitting next to it in a room with no other sound, it seems great. But gigging, in a pub… it's less 'full' sounding. For the money, it saves you getting a PA system but you do not get a PA system sound…. you get what you pay for = reasonable amplification for a small venue. DI function through a PA is great but as an alternative to a PA , the benefit is portability and price. The disadvantage is the lack of spread or width to the sound. If you're not bothered about space in the car or set up time, a 2nd hand PA would give you a better sound and more channels. There is no bluetooth on mine or USB etc… I just plug a bluetooth receiver into the phono input as a workaround.

  • Best acoustic amp I've EVER owned. It will be with me till I'm dead. It is a bit heavy, but I put casters on it to help. Save looking and pick this amp. You won't regret it.

  • The MARSHALL AS100D is a nice-sounding acoustic amp, featuring on-board effects and adjustable EQ levels. With it's XLR inputs, it serves as a well-crafted acoustic amp / PA system. At 100 watts, it has enough power for most small-mid-sized rooms. In fact, I've used it for outdoor gigs, and it works fine as an all-in-one solution. I've had this amp since about 2008. The cons are it is quite heavy, and the leather carry handle seems ill-suited for the amp's heft.
