The Marshall DSL5C Combo amplifier utilises 3 x ECC83 and 1 x 12BH7/ECC99 Valves to give discerning guitarists and beginners alike with that coveted valve amp sound.
You have 5 watts of pure valve power to play with as well as a switchable 1 watt mode that allows you to get that lush tube amp sound at lower volumes – ideal for home studio owners, apartments and those in need of a practice amp that has all the response and dynamics that can only be achieved via a valve amp.
The easy to use front panel gives you control over gain, EQ and tone shifting effects, whilst the included footswitch lets you flick between ‘Classic’ and ‘Ultra Gain’ channels instantly.
The Marshall DSL5C amplifier also features a headphone output for practicing at home making it a great option for home use as you can enjoy silent practice without waking the neighbours. The speaker output lets you expand the sound and go louder should the gig call for it, whilst the FX loop can be put to good use via the 4 cable method and running effects after the pre amp.

Marshall do 2 types of amps: crap and worse.
I have the DSL5CR and want to get this DSL5C. I'll have one set up with a solo Dallas Schaffer Replica and my Gibson SG for the "Angus" sound and the other will be set up with the Bullet 45 pedal and my Gretsch for the Malcolm sound. It might not make me a better player but it may inspire me a bit and add another level of fun.
I have the newer DSL 5CR and its fantastic but I am also looking for Used original 5C both sound great. The older one seems to have less bass and slightly more mids .
Is this the god of the phillistines?
Hello, good video, can I use headphones with this Amp?
Nice clean with character but got the impression only with typical strat/tele single coils pickups. Not to propose as a jazz or clean rock fingerpicking with humbuckers.. too flat and cold with clean …then, ok…with distortion everything changes…
I have used a black star ht5 in medium size club playing loud and dirty with a full band, it was on11 and cut thru…
You made me buy one and I am super happy with it!
How much Pirates Of The Caribbean did he watch? LOL
I own this. Loud as F..k and sounds really good
Does this work well with pedals or multi effects?
Between this and the Vox AC10C1 which one would you get?
Mr Crowley by Ozzy
But is it the Marshall we know and love?
Does it work well with 7 string and lower tunning guitars?
Ive got 1. Now i want more
Totally buyiing this
At 0:26 I thought you said "Saucy channel" – I think they should call it that! Two channels – Clean and saucy. Sounds good to me!
Fab demo Dagan (as always!)
one watt by one twat , one we all know and love ,perhaps hate loved ,hard
Great amp, and good demo. But I am not sure about the conclusion: there is in fact still plenty of volume – if you so wish – to irritate your partner (or neighbour) by blasting it in the living room!
