  • I've got the soloist in white and another in black and was looking forward to another Mick signature but I'll pass on this one unless I can find it in pristine condition in a years time at a much cheaper price…

  • I think mick has forgitten what a cheap guitar is.. 2000 $ for a gigging player who hasn't all the money in the world, What a steal!..

  • Electric guitars have remained unchanged, stagnant, for at least 35 years. New finishes, shapes, but virtually unchanged. It's like trying to upgrade the pencil. So, how about this –

You companies start trying to engineer guitars that are noticably more playable, comfortable, with ZERO FUCKING NECK DIVE! I know it can be done. Do it, or I will.

Even (especially) odd shapes – V's, Explorers, star shapes – all with super low action, stability, and zero neck dive. If you don't do this soon, someone will, and they're going to eat your lunch!

  • IDK, I don’t find his new signature model to be a good value honestly. It’s pretty plain in features for $1600 USD. I’ve seen used made in japan ESP EII Horizon models selling for not much more than Mick’s new model. There are definitely better deals on the used market if you’re looking for a high end pro level guitar

  • The price is a rip off, 1700 here. Ok, sig model fine you pay extra for it I get it. But it is plain looking as hell, only one pickup (so, saving ESP money), generic bridge… 1300 tops. It would be so easy to do a Partscaster of this using a cheaper LTD and then swap the hardware. Where was this even made? You can buy a MIJ Ibanez for that price. No shade on LTD guitars, they're great but fk there is a financial crisis going on.

  • at least ola understands that some people do not have 2000 bucks for a so called "affordable " ltd model with his solar brand

  • Just get the ec1000 matte ltd, mod it a bit, and you’re fine. You can pick one up for 600 used.

  • Did I miss something here or wasn't he sponsored by Fishman for pickups? Also that guitar is ugly af.

  • You eat my ass for $2000. This thing is made on a CNC machine that has to work less than one that builds Arrows. Jim had it right with his Fender and Squire lineup; anyone could afford either one, and they were great. This is basically just a blackmetal version of the MH series. Funny enough, ESP killed their black metal lineup. Regardless, the only good super strat is an Ibanez super strat. Nothing else come close in either feel or spirit.
