idk if i've ever heard his voice.
Such a goat man
Anyone who's played a Green Day song on bass knows Dirnt is super underrated. Definitely one of the all time best.
He is the reason why I wanted to play the bass guitar
Mike dirnt inspired me to make a band with my friends, we get local gigs pretty much monthly! Thanks Mike????
His groove is very reminiscent of Alex James' from Blur, who, at the same period of time ('94-'95), was a very inventive and "busy" bass player as well
A great bass player is always a contributor, That's what Mike is saying. Whether adding an entire bass line or a couple of well placed notes, the bassist anchors the song! ⚓ ????
This dude was a huge inspiration and influence on 16-year old, newly minted bassist me in 1991. I heard Kerplunk and bass made SENSE. You can contribute to the melody, you can push the others, you can fill any hole. As far as I'm concerned he's one of the great bassists of the era.
Wow! Is that the bassline for Only Of You at 1:24!?? ????. Maybe I'm just hearing what I want to hear.
He's cool. He's right. He's humble. He's still going. Respect.
What tune is he playing at 1:25?
fantastic to see a world famous bass player whose left hand technique is as bad if not worse than mine
Как же он пыню похож
Rad demo, Dirnt seems like a great guy. Someone needs to tell the crew that the 421 they have on the cab is a front address mic though…
I'll never be the one missing Billy Idol nor Johnny Rotten, Mel has always been the elder guy, but I'm not gonna take Mad Max that seriously…
I want to see mike dirnt vs me (I’ll definitely lose)
Maestro ????????????
Sounds just like the record
Putin Plays!!!
1:04 ah yes, very good mediocre guitar ????
I love this dude so much
My favorite bassist. ????
Such a huge inspiration on me as a bass player!
Honestly I dig this dude's tone…. awesome bass player , lame ass band
Mike DUUNN
Does anyone know what the first bass line he plays is from?
