Mini Amp Heads – Oripure OAH 15 and the OAH 5 Review

Buy them here

5 Watt version :
OriPure 5W All Tube Guitar Amplifier Head OA-H05

15 Watt version:
OriPure OA-H15 15W All Tube Guitar Amplifier Head

The oripure OAH 15 and the OAH 5 are hand made amplifier heads that not only look good but also sound great.

They are missing a couple of things i would like to see added, but all in all, great amps that not only sound good, but feel good to use and look great

  • Like you said Glenn, there's going to be many more of these in years to come. There are so many different amp brands out there now, boutique and otherwise. Hell I watched a video the other night with three amp brands I had never heard of, each making a beautiful looking and sounding amp & each one better than anything I'd ever heard before. And not to mention individuals getting into the game and making a splash..

  • I agree with you totally Glenn. I think these are a great little amp and like you I like to have things that other s don't. Or at least don't yet. I'm not a name brand snob, in fact I try to avoid the big name brands when I can

  • Different impedances(8 or 16 ohm) on Cabs isn't going to make anything sound any different. What it will do however is either lesson or increase your output volume.
    Just FYI

  • I am assuming the 5 breaks up way sooner than the 15 watter? Also is anything about noon supercompressed?

  • Very good informative video. You played the same riff under different settings and didn't use the video as an excuse to indulge your ego. That enabled a more accurate representation of the sound of the amps. Thanks.

  • Good demo! I'm looking for a small 5 watt amp and this seems to fit the bill. I play mainly clean and use pedals for od or distortion. Can the 5 watt version get loud and stay clean if the gain is fairly low and the volume is cranked? Thanks!

  • Thanks for the review. Been looking for reviews of these for weeks now, ever since i first spotted them when nobody had even heard of them. The only other vids are more of a demo than a full review. (I missed Karl's at the time)
Thanks for going more in depth on what they actually offer.

Ive done so much digging through the internet for a decent tube amp that wont bust my $250 budget.

Ive found that the cheapest a decent tube amp can be aquired is about $250 and id rather all my $ go into the amp than paying $80 for shipping.

  • Good man Glenn, great demo. I did a couple of reviews myself on these two heads a few weeks back, I was really surprised at how good they sound and the quality is great. ????????
