Thank you, cool presentation!
Nice playing too ????
For a bit of fun, try a “ stutter” if you can find a good bass one too..????
I'm for sure team chorus. Great for 80s stuff, great after fuzz for synth tones and great to add that lushness and texture to atmospheric delay. It's also great to add a kind of woozy, slightly "off" sound like on Charlotte Day Wilson's "Summertime."
Please tell me witch bass is the first one? The blue one. Thanx
I have guitar ????, scared to use it, got know rhythm
Thank you for the free "For The Love Of Money" lesson!
Patrick, I’d love to know more about preamps….
So cool…
What's the name of the song from 3:37?
The flanger was the best. Patrick can you do a vid on the Digitech drop? A lot of bass players hate it but I love it. I suspect the ones that hate it only used it with no background music. I play covers at home an gig with one. It sounds great in the mix, gives a slight hint of and octave up but doesn't pronounce/sound crappy in a mix. I also moved it to the last pedal before my compressor which is the end/out to my amp. If you eq properly its almost impossible to hear the slight octave up. Even on the high notes. If you need more basses than your main and a backup on stage you're behind the times. Switching basses or returning between songs is horrible to do to fans. You can retune in 2 seconds with a drop.
I have the MXR Chorus Deluxe and it’s really nice, it fits well in the mix, gets a lot of use. It has a flanger setting but haven’t found it useful.
Robert Smith loves Chorus so much he has it sitting in the back of his amp with tape all over the controls and a “do not turn off” note on it. (He’s played either Fender Bass VI or the Schecter Hellcat and I believe he still has a signature Hellcat with them too.)
Patrick is SO good at what he loves the most, i suppose ????
This guy doesn't know how to test pedals tbh 0 dynamics at all.
why is this satanist on your channel. close to unsubbing.

I NEED MORE BASS
Every time I hear flanger, I just think: "it's just boneless phaser".
Phase and fuzz so fun on bass ????????
Auto wah is also a quite unique one, especially with adding low octave =)
Love chorus with my bass.
