  • Big ups to Monte with the work with Janet, Alex, Cherrelle, Prince and Morris/The Time.
When I heard Oh No It's U Again from Cherrelle's High Priority album, JJ's Pleasure principle, Alex's If you were here tonight and can't forget about Deja's 1988 hit "That's where you'll find me" were the jams. along with of course Jam and Lewis aka The Flyte Tyme Duo
    Minneapolis funk never stops
Trust and believe that there won't be a Morris concert with Jerome holding the mirror.

  • I think it was Jill Jones not Lisa playing the keyboards behind the curtains when Jimmy and Terry missed the gig

  • Thanks for presenting this talented artist. It's always interesting to hear these stories from "the guy in the band perspective". Usually we only look at the main ones up front or the guys in the spotlight. Unfortunately in today's world people want a little more dirt in these type of interviews, sad to say it but I'm sure this man has a whole lot more that could have been put on this interview not like the really really crazy dirt but give us a little the real human side of how people get done wrong in the music business. Thank you for a great interview this man is special and he needs all the love that we have in this world !!

  • I loved Monte's work on St. Paul's debut album. (Can't Get Enough and Sensation) That whole album was perfection. I loved how his Montes solo debut album did not ride with the Minneapolis sound at all, even though he does that so well. Brave enough to show his own musical vision.

  • Missed questions: What were your thoughts when first hearing Shep Pettibone's Remix of The Pleasure Principle? , Would like his perspective on the 1999 Triple Threat Tour? How many songs or riffs did Prince steal for himself that came from Jam Sessions with The Time?
