  • Yamaha C40II is not only good in sound but also in strength. I have had mine for over 3 years now, and always strung it with normal tension strings, and the neck is still perfectly straight and the belly is also flat. This is unusual for the guitar with this price. So, I recommend this guitar for students up to Grade 6. The intonation is also good all over, as Yamaha factory standardised the production procedure.

  • I just bought, this past March 2024, a Yamaha CG122MCH. It has a lovely warm, mellow sound. However I found the factory strings to be harsh on my fingertips. Didn’t really notice it until I changed the strings a day ago. For a beginner's guitar, it is perfectly good.

  • This is an awesome video! No need to know about the type of wood used.. just saying "it has strong wood" and "is more than adequate" is quite informative, and certainly there is no need to hear the guitar either, which would be pointless, so not sure why people are complaining about that in these comments. It's almost as if they actually would want to play the guitar after they get it. Thanks so much for this awesome video! Keep up the great work!

  • Why don't you mention type wood, type bracing, nut width and prices,.? You need to play them, WE NEED TO HEAR THE SOUND DIFFINETLY!!!

  • I call my Yamaha C40/2 a little darling. It's cheap but wow… it's good. Sweet ringing tones. Not loud, but sweet and singing.

  • Hi. Sorry, but what's the use of such a video if we can only "SEE" the guitars and never "HEAR" them ? So frustrating…

  • These are all factory guitars. Most classical guitarists are gonna want something built by hand by a luthier, and not manufactured by major brands. You should do a video on the top luthiers, instead of this.
