Rick makes me feel dumb
I have found the circle of 5ths (and 4ths) invaluable in learning/understanding so much of the theory of music. Truly, I feel it is invaluable. I love the way Rick is thinking ahead of what he is writing – we all do it 🙂 Oh, and I bought the package, so thank you Rick, for some quality content
This is incredible. I understood after one watch!
I actually learned all this in 3 years at Berklee. This was much faster. And cheaper.
noman rumenals
Thank you so much. What you are doing is truly amazing! The music industry and all of us are extremely grateful for your knowledge, talent and experience <3
Bell Rang but Brain Snapped.
Question: when you wrote the parallel minor you simply turned the major chords minor and the minor chord major. I thought that when observing the parallel minor you share a tonic but the 3rd 6th and 7th notes are flattened. I’m your example, shouldn’t you have flattened E A & B?
Said it before… I'll say it again… you are the man!!!
Primary PIGMENTS are Red, Blue, Yellow.
Primary colors of light are Red, Blue, Green

I can honestly say that after watching this – I am more lost than I ever was.
I love this guy thank you Mr Rick beato
So great, thank you Rick !!
Thank you very much for this amazing explanation! After 23 years of playing guitar I now finally understand what the circle of fifths is for, and how to apply secondary and parallel chords. Thank you so much for sharing this information????
I’m finally taking the time to learn and I’m glad it’s you my fried.
Me: I'm watching youtube videos to learn guitar.
Mom: Oh! What have you learned so far?
Me: mixing blue and red makes green!
Mom: ????
