My Big New Beginner Course + Bass Lesson Project!!!

I’ve been doing a lot of cool stuff behind the scenes lately… here’s the scoop!
MY BEGINNER COURSE: http://joshfossgreen.com/b2b
CHECK OUT BASS BUZZ: http://joshfossgreen.com/bassbuzz

I’m really really excited to share my Bass Buzz stuff with you guys. These lessons offer a level of empathy and structure I think most bass lessons (including some on this YT channel) are lacking. Whether you’re a total beginner, or if you’ve been noodling around without much success, Bass Buzz will help get you rocking no problem.

I will keep publishing lessons on this channel, in my usual “here are some things to think about” style, because I think both approaches have a lot to offer.

  • Hey Josh, I've been trying to play bass, my favorite kind of music is reggae!
I love Robbie Shakespeare and "Family man" Barrett among others.
I've been trying to learn the bass line for a song called "Slave Master" by GREGORY ISAACS.
Please take a listen to the tune and see what you do to help.
    I'll be listening and watching!

  • hi joshua. you're a lovely guy. im a 40 year old mother of four…very tempted to give into my mid life crisis and finally actually learn bass! im struggling with a lot of doubt…am i kidding myself? too old??? wrong gender???? …. … …
i grew up learning the violin…could you say the bass is just a sideways violin? ;D ???
what i mainly wanted to ask was is there a more pathetic person's option for payment?…. like longer payment options? (we are on one teacher income here and i cant even afford those monthly payments offered for the bassbuzz course.
and want to triple check you can ship to the UK? and it wont cost any more??
    thank ever so much

  • I'm going to try this. Why? Because I have a bass, 2, I want to play it and three there's something about this guy I trust.

  • It isn't "just" talking. It is conversing 🙂 yammer on all you like Josh. You're very intuitive when you describe your instructions and many times you explain scenarios or difficulties that may occur during practice and how to over come them and that is exactly why I enjoy your teaching. Lessons within a lesson! You're like an Oracle or something with your mind reading /pre-emptiveness. You leave no stone unturned. May the haters observe my outwardly thrusted hand.

  • Good luck with the lessons Josh. I've been playing for a while, so I find your normal lessons less of a challenge than the beginners. I'm glad to see sites like this on helping the next generation of bass players. Lord knows the current music industry needs more talented musicians who play real instruments, and a hell of a lot less computerized crap.

  • How different are the 2 courses? I took the Beginner to Badass course, and got a ton of great info out of it.
