  • As what I understand from your explanation about the Peak midi footswitch that is the 4 buttons are presets button but also it can be programme as an on/off button for efx, am I right? Means 1 button can be multiple utilise

  • Two big speakers, who takes that to a gig for you. Get a compact rig like in a rack and one amp in stereo with two med to small cabinets.

  • Hi, I'm desperately trying to find a way to program my MFC101 to control three boost pedals, and the time delay devices (delays and Choruses) in my AXEFXII. In my rack I have the Effects GIzmo, the AxeFXII, and and Klon, a Zendrive and a RC booster. I'm using a RJM effects gizmo loops to run the three overdrives through. I'm running the AXEFXII through the loop on Two Rock. I talked to the guys at RJM and they sent me the midi channels for loops 1-3…cc80, cc81, and cc82.
1)How can I program the IA switches on the MFC101 to turn the overdrive pedals on an off at will?
    2) So I need to use a midi cabled form the MFC101 to the AXE? Or will the RJ45 chord work?

Please feel free to IM me and I'll send you my email.

    Thanks is advance!

  • hey another question for you here…. So I have the MFC 101 and the Axe FX 2 XL plus, picked up an RJM mastermind LT, similar to the peak you have, and received the iRig 2 Midi you told me you had…. figured out how to get the mastermind to change what i need on the fractal and MFC…. any tips/advice for the integration of the iRig 2 midi to get it to work in the same capacity you are using it? I did download the app you mentioned and did the in store purchases for the midi, just not sure where to go from there as far as midi channels, cc's PC's etc….

  • Joe Question,  how are you connecting the peak to the iPhone and to the MFC…. and I noticed whenever you click something n the peak that controls the MFC lights flash under the mic stand, what is that box that is flashing as I am assuming that is what the iPhone is connected to and then running to the MFC?

  • Hi, I know it has been a long time since you did this video but I am just wondering: are you connecting the mfc 101 midi directly to the disasters true bypass looper??

  • Joe, do you have all your midi controllers set to the same midi channel ? if not how did you set the disaster area to listen to the right channel ?

    thanks,

    Joe

  • Joe, can you tell me what your midi chain is ? im guessing that the peak controls everything ? so midi out from the peak to the mfc, ipod, and disaster area ? do u run splitters or midi out to midi through of the rest of the units ? i also notice you change the programs in the mfc.. does that change the peak as well ? thanks, Joe

  • Hi Joe! Very nice set man! Tell me, How did you program the Fractal MFC? I have a TC G Major 2 and I need to control with my MFC… But not working very well… Can you help me? Thanks

  • This is way better than a lot of rigs I see that have $50k worth of brand new pedals… Nobody who gigs is going to use a rig like that live. Who's going to carry it? Who's going to run security at the gig so it doesn't walk off? And is it actually accomplishing anything? I'd much rather be picky and careful – and create a rig that is manageable and amazing sounding! Good. : )

  • Hello, is there a chance you would be able to answer a question on how to use an Event Processor Plus to change CC Messages to Program changes? I am using a Voodoo Lab GCP with an Eventide H9 to change the presets, but like I said, I want to convert cc messages to pc messages. If you could spare some time I would greatly appreciate it.

  • Amazing set up. Have you considered getting a rack together to house your live gear, and something like a rack mount effects processor to lighten the load? I'm just imagining that being a nightmare to load out, and you clearly have the skill set to program a multi effects unit. I really enjoy your vids. You show some great gear no one else does.

  • Thanks a lot for making all of these videos, they've been really helpful and inspiring. I have a couple of questions about the MIDI events happening between the FCB4X and the MFC-101. Looking at the manual for the MFC, it doesn't seem like you can assign PC or CC numbers to the songs, only the presets. How are you able to switch songs using an external controller? and once you've selected the song and switched back to bank 2 on the FCB4X, how does it know which group of PC#s to cycle through for presets?

I suspect the MIDI event processor is involved, but I'm still a little puzzled. Would you mind clearing this up for me?

Thanks again and great playing, btw!
