I bought mine aabout 2 years ago as well. A very nice guitar.
This is a beautiful and soft guitar. Nice review
Thanks for the info on the 214ce, I’ve ordered one thanks to your video ????
Great job ????????thank you
I bought a Taylor 210ce in about 2010 before they began making the 210 and 214 in Mexico What is the difference between the 210ce and 214ce
I love that the pattern in the top wood in each guitar is slightly different. I own this guitar which I bought in 2020. Check out the ebony fretboard next time you change your strings and you'll notice that you're putting a LOT of wear into it. That's not a bad thing. I think it says a lot of you as a player.
It should also be noted that the top is solid wood while the back and sides are laminated. I love my guitar but if it was stolen, I may go for a 314 since it's totally solid and American-made whereas the 214 is made in Mexico.
Also note that the sound in these guitars will improve with age and the more you play it.
What is the song starting at 1:32? Its awesome and I want tl learn it
Nice review! – the sincerity in your voice in this presentation makes this review easy to listen to, and the way you explain how the 214 works for you and your different techniques really drives home what you're saying
Can I ask your height? This is so I can figure out if this model will fit me at 5’5
Thanks, Rob
Thank you for the review! Very helpful, clear and with some demos
Nice review! would you recommend it for fingerstyle guitar mainly?
What a great review Kim Thank You!
That percussion riff was sweet!
Thanks for the review Kim. Nice short and to the point. I totally agree in that the sound is remarkable for the price.
Thanks for the review Kim – I’m interested in trying one of these guitars and I’ve read reviews that comment on how low the action is and how easy on the fingers it is to play. So I’m wondering whether you feel the guitar is easy to play further down the neck and whether the action remains consistently low? Would the action be more comparable to that of an electric guitar?
Great review ????
I bought mine 2 years ago too love it
Those are amazing guitars i had one with Koa it was incredible i really miss that guitar
Check this https://youtu.be/-vuq1LjJyt0?si=_EoM97TbKirOTWum his taylor sounds more aggressive how he foing this ?
Have it and love it. Some guitars feels like you almost have to wrestle the sound out of them, this one just plays itself… almost. Great guitar!
Thanks for reviewing this guitar. It's been very useful information. Much appreciated.
Everybody and their Mother has a Taylor.. That doesn't make it bad, it just proves how great the guitar is..
Have one on order since yesterday, because of your video .
Got the 214ce Plus and I love it.
Is that laminated?
Great clear vid about ur 214ce Thanks!
Great review, thanks! I bought one recently and very impressed. I felt the tone is brighter and fuller than some all solid guitars it tried!
Did you play happen to play the plus or deluxe versions? If you did what differences did you notice? There aren't any shops that sell Taylor near me do I can't go and see the difference for myself.
Great demo Kim , I am looking to buy one of these soon to learn to play on , any recommendations on a good beginners starting to learn video on YouTube , cheers Den .
i agree with you. I have one 3 months ago and i needed the money so, i sold it and 2 weeks later i bought another one. Really an awesome guitar and i used it a lot to my gigs. Thanks for sharing your video.
