  • Adding the Fender 2×10 to my Rumble 800 was my first thought, however the 2×10 and the 1×15 extension cabs les than the 400 watts the amp would send.. They are marketed to pair with the Rumble 500. Options would be to go the Fender 4×10, or another 2×10 like the Massbass that one of your other commenters did.

  • Has Garry sent you any of their 6-string Active Basses for you to review
I love your talent you're able to pick up a four-string 5 string 6-string excetera excetera and be quite comfortable with explaining
Parameters in executing your technique flawlessly no matter how many strings
I can remember being with Esperanza Spalding and his young bass player gave her a 6-string Bass to sign
She said what's with all of these strings
    Lol
As I continue to struggle with my four strings.

  • always interesting content, but beyond that really refreshing to have a presenter who isn't affecting some draft personality, just delivers great information in a natural, normal way.

  • When I was touring with The Miracles I was always using a mic’d SVT Heritage to get that classic JJ Motown sound. Yes we had roadies so I never had to move it myself. But then I discovered the ampless rig and went to an Ampeg SCR DI on my pedalboard and go direct now without sacrificing any of the SVT sound. I don’t see ever using an on stage amp again.

  • A few years ago I found my dream bass rig at a practice room. Marshall VBA-400 with Marshall 4×12 bass cabinet. A loud valve sound.

Digbeth is a district of Birmingham, England near to where Laney are based.

  • Top tier space and weight isn't an issue its either 2 Ampeg SVT II (non-Pro) heads feeding a '90s 8×10" & 2×15" cabs, 2 Mesa Bass 400 (non-+) heads feeding a Powerhouse 8×10" & 4×12", or a Sunn 300T into a 6×10" & 2×15" (used too own and dearly miss). Space saver rig would be a Darkglass DG212N and MicroTubes 900 V2, although im digging the Fender Rumbles STage now so i may need to get that.

  • I agree with BTK’s GK setup. It would work in just about any situation. If it’s good enough for Carmine Rojas, it’s good enough for me. I have two GK NEO 4×10’s but like Bully, it stays at my church and never moves. I also let other bass players use it. I have GK MB-112ii for small travel situations. Will DI if I have to.

  • I have the David Edeans 4/10 and 1/ 18 with a Peavey 1500 power amp and BBE bass Preamp with a Harkey 4000 amp head as back up.

  • I ran 3 svt heads and 3 810s for a couple decades, I do not miss that mess.. I got a Hartke lh1000 with a 410 for large venues and small gigs I use the ampeg pf50t with the 115 in the fliptop, I love both rigs, I keep an ampeg BA 210 v2 as a backup and for home rehersals. These days im loving the clean stage with in ears, and just sansamp into the FOH.

  • Great video as usual. I finally ended up with my dream rig. GK Legacy 800 and the GK 4/12 that you showed. It's a beast of a set up but…I gig every weekend and have to load it into the back seat of my truck. After a year and a half it bit me. was feeling tired and lifted wrong and threw my back out for 2 weeks. Sadly it will be for sale soon. Have watched your vids on the BBC and I think this is my answer.

  • Bully would you need a Zoom B6 Bass Multi-Effects Processor if you have the Fender Stage 800? Is this compatible or over kill?

  • That SVT is top of my list too. That tube head is heavy as Hell without the cab. I played one with a p-bass. Amazing! It works soooo good for old school funk, rock, motown, blues, etc 🙂

  • Don’t really have a dream rig. If I did it would be something that sounds like a svt that doesn’t need to be repaired so much. Unfortunately I have my dream amps I rock a Aguilar 2×12 cab and a ampeg vr hasn’t changed much in awhile also got a Mesa walkabout as a back up the weight sucks a bit but it’s worth it.

  • I have mark bass 6×10 it’s the smallest cab I use 100lbs , also got a mesa powerhouse 4×10 115 it wights 137 always thought it was the shit but my markbass cab sounds better , I do have a mesa m6 2×12 combo like it but need a extension cab it’s great but it has a tough time Holding its on against the hard-hitting metal drummer that’s why I just use the 610 I’d like to have a not need they need to not have …. I like your channel good work you’re a funny dude
