  • I use a Metal Zone with my bass. Works a lot better with a bass. Such a gnarly distortion.

  • it would be cool to get a video with cheaper pedals, that octabass is amazing but i cant afford £150 per pedal x

  • If you can't play for shit, add a bunch of pedals and hopefully no one will notice you can't play for shit. Try using a pick, maybe that will help. Or get a bigger amp. You pose is important. Look in the mirror a lot.

  • I’m not bagging on u or anything nothing personal but that has to be the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen and it’s $11,000 oh no that is crazy! I’m blown away I need to go to sleep now I’m probably gonna have a nightmare about being forced to play in public with it.

  • you know, if you have a POG, you could make the POG sound less static and irritating by going into a Aguilar Filter Twin from there.
i would get a Filter Twin First, actually, then a POG to give the filter some more frequencies to work with.

like you could tone down the POG, with the filter twin, in a way you couldn't tone down the POG with the controls on the POG.

  • I Am So Glad i quit trying to make my guitar sound like a synthesizer, ( the first attempts were expensive, and painful, enough )
i ended up just getting into soft-synths, keys, and eventually a Linnstrument 128 …. i don't need octave effects, i just need bass guitar to sound like bass guitar, and guitar to sound like guitar.

  • My top pedals:
    1. Accelerator pedal
    2. Brake pedal
    3. Clutch pedal (preferably, but I could live without it)

because the drummer doesn't own a car

  • Nice applications! I've been doing Moyo passive volume (amazingly simple and handmade in US) -> Boss OC-5 octaver (more options than OC-3) -> Darkglass Alpha Omega distortion -> MXR purple envelope filter (in case you need to Bootsy) -> MXR bass compressor -> MXR booster -> BeatBuddy -> RC-300 looper. Never heard of POG or Freeze so tyvm.

  • Nice drone practice recommendation. I have a Gamechanger Audio PLUS pedal with Wet switch. I’m still delving into it with my NS Design CR6-string Radius fretless electric bass guitar and electric cello after 2 years.????

  • Hi Scott. Wondering what you think of compression. Don't need it because your articulation is giving you what you want? Also, what about digital versus analog effects. What do you think? Thanks.

  • Ooh I like the use of the sustainer to provide your own accompaniment. Very clever.

  • I wish that I picked up a basic guitar a long time ago but I just picked it up three months ago ! I am blind and I am picking this up like I was born for this ! Would’ve loved to been able to interior contest with any of this
