NAMM 2025 Peavey Cirrus Bass
Peavey has refined the Cirrus Bass for NAMM 2025, with features that should be on every bass in its price range. From the pickups to the machine screws (no toothpicks, gang), the Peavey Cirrus is a contender for an upscale purchase.

I'm not seeing on the Peavey site?
Peavey …. Fires half of their workers then says if you guys want to change pickups. Sounds like your own pickups are shit. I’m sorry I have an old 1978 t60 guitar that I love and and old Windsor head. But that was peavey was a legacy brand . I’m not encouraging a USA brand that fired their 30 years old employees and lies on a tv show, that they are a great American company when they ship all of stuff in china. And trying to relaunch a piece of crap 10 watts with
A tilt cab won’t make people trust your company. That amp sucked ass back then, and sounds even shittier now. Josh homme used hit for some dirt tracks , buried into 30
Other tracks of real good amps. F…….. peavey????????
Where's the bass. I keep looking and it's nowhere to be found. They said they were re-releasing it in 2024 and didn't, I'm starting to think 2025 is the same
Guy gave almost the exact same speech for NAMM 2024.
I think he meant "re-re-re-launch"
I thought Peavey went under and sold everything! Glad they are still going!
Didn’t Mike Porcaro play this brand too ?
Very cool but we need a Vandenberg bass. With skeletonized tuning machine heads! Please!
so basically a G bass mated with a 4 string TL5
nice.
Nice looking bass
The US Cirrus basses were fantastic at a relatively affordable price. Glad they’re back! Their website doesn’t even mention them however…
Best new of this NAMM !
" a lot of people don't know what VFL" stands for" * proceeded to mess it up
Yeah it was at namm 2024 too… still waiting for it.
Dammit Peavey! Bring back the T series already!
They said the same thing at NAMM ‘24. I’ve been waiting since then to see one on the rack. They never appeared so bought a Fender Ultra American instead.
I have a reissue Aria SB700 that is amazing, that I paid <$1,200 for. 7 piece flame maple neck, original bridge specs, original pickup specs.
What Peavey is charging for the Cirrus basses and Vandenberg guitars is insane….
i bet the horizontal magnets are powered by a blast processor
Any clue as to when/if these will be available and where?
Stunning looking instrument.
Gorgeous ✨
Ngomong wae lain geur di slap haha
I feel like I've seen this one before… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lzqzp8Ggt9U
So where do we find these for sale?
17 volt?
Is this a USA made bass? Price?
Is this available left handed?
Funny there still isn't any information on the Peavey site about these basses!!!!
No pricing info anywhere…..
Better off saving up for a used Ken Smith.
it's good to see Peavey putting out gear again.
Nice, but I don't want one battery, much less two.
I love my OG Cirrus 5. I thought I was spending a bit too much on it when I snagged one for $1300. If these are gonna be closer to $3k, then I guess I still got a great deal haha
Why not just revamp the T-20, and T-40? People want them, they're some of the best basses ever made, and the aftermarket is insane. They could revamp, and release a tester run, and it would sell-out, day one
If you look closely on our channel, here at Bass Gear magazine, you'll see some reviews with my own Peavey Cirrus basses! Looking forward to seeing what the new models have to offer!
Let’s get back to that dark natural Look
Made where I wonder
Awesome Bass!! Wish Peavey nothing but success. Some of the best amps on the market as well. ( IMOP)
This thing is too expensive for what it is….affordability for a quality instrument was the mojo for the old Cirrus
The older USA Cirrus basses are some of the best basses ever made!!!
I HOPE they made a version with the whole bass having a natural, satin finish.
Development engineers need to FINALLY get it into their heads that 99% of bass & guitar players prefer that finish……….ESPECIALLY on the back of the instrument's neck.
John Wetton of Asia's favorite bass!!! What a legend he was!!!
