Neural DSP Launches the Nano Cortex Pedal – No Treble
Neural DSP has added a new pedal to its arsenal called the Nano Cortex, a more compact take on the Quad Cortex released in 2020. The new unit, designed for both bass and guitar, packs a digital amplifier, cabinet simulator, and effects processor all in one.

The Nano Cortex allows for loading impulse responses and Neural Capture, which lets you create a digital version of “any amp, drive pedal, cabinet, or all of them stacked together.” Its signal chain, which can run pre- or post-effects, includes a Noise Gate and a Transpose feature for tuning adjustments.
Other features include MIDI I/O, an audio interface with 24-bit and 48kHz recording, customizable footswitches, a built-in tuner, and more. The Cortex Cloud app lets you adjust parameters and manage your presets over Bluetooth.
The Neural DSP Nano Cortex is available now for $549.
