Neural DSP Launches the Parallax X Bass Plugin – No Treble
Neural DSP has updated its Parallax bass plugin with a new iteration called Parallax X. The plugin adds new capabilities and enhancements to its feature set.
“The updated Parallax X plugin builds on this foundation with several key updates, including the addition of Transpose and Live Tuner global features, a Metronome, and a new Maximum window size with ‘Click-and-Drag’ window edges for easy resizing,” the company states. “It also introduces new factory presets, a revamped UI for easier navigation and a more intuitive user experience, a redesigned Spectrum Analyzer, and improved system performance.”
The key to the plugin’s processing is its ability to process low, mid, and high frequencies separately in parallel and then mix them back together.

The Neural DSP Parallax X bass plugin is available now for €99 (approximately $107). It’s a free update for existing Parallax users, but the new iteration is installed as a separate version of the plugin and doesn’t delete the legacy Parallax plugin, keeping existing audio sessions safe.
