Nice guitar but would have liked to seen the headstock glossed.
Which wood it’s the headstock made of in this model?
Would something like D'Addario flat tops take some of the top end off of this guitar?
any lefties coming in?
Great playing showcasing a wonderful E6SSTC, and point about reviews. There’s a lot to be learned by listening to your narratives. I actually compared this Eastman slope against its big brother, the Gibson J-35, and found the tone of the E6-SS-TC to be more pleasing to my ears. I went ahead and bought one and couldn’t be happier, and, though I have some pretty high-end guitars, I’ve become a huge Eastman fan. There is no discernible difference in build quality unless nitrocellulose is a must have. For me, the tonal spectrum is absolutely perfect with more midrange, similar bass response, and crystalline highs.
Hi, you guys dont sell the e10ss anymore?
It would be awesome a little lesson of what you play on every tone sample ????
Their mahogany is stunning – especially with that subtle burst. My oh my. Beautiful honey like color
Huge hit alright, looks like a J35, sounds like a D18, just picked one up and it's a cannon, rich and easy to play, oh and absolutely beautifully made.
Great sounding guitar! What mics did you use?
How many of those could I get for my D35 HAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
Will they have a sunburst model?
TFOA had demo this 8 month ago
I am intrigued by your talk of a 1&3/4" nut width slope shoulder!!! Anything you can tell us about possible timeframe etc??????
Is the one Corey is playing still available?
Thanks for the demo of this guitar. An impressive instrument at this price point!
I love the 11/16 just saying because those wanting wide necks seem to be very vocal, but us quiet types choose these models. Not everyone has huge hands either.
I would like to see Eastman offer a Nick Lucas style model. Eh?
Just a question Guys. Is there any advantage of having the bridge on backwards. Or is it just for cosmetic looks.
Between 1 11/16 to 1 3/4 is only 1/16 of an inch. Who would think this amount of difference would be so much of a talking point for Guitarists. WOW. It just blows my mind sometimes. ????????????????????????????
When are you guys going to come out with a review of the Eastman E20D-TC with Madagascar Rosewood? According to many dealers the first shipments of the dreadnought and oms should have came out by now.
Sounds great, and I like the 11/16” nut! But…the humidity in Phoenix today is 15%, and I have found that I rarely play guitars that sit in cases humidifying. So, guess I need to stick to my carbon fiber guitar, until / unless I move out of the desert.
How different do these sound from the E1SS-LTD in person? Better? Worse? Just different?
Great sounding and looking guitars but please make the bridge face the right direction.
The twins can pick guitar. Guitar's sounds great also.
Lovely, the big makers must surely be a little worried by such amazing hand built guitars at those prices? John how much of the range is available in left-hand? The dealer I used in the UK to buy my E1OM said that was pretty much it apart from the E1D?
Sounds really good to me!
Why are the soundboards 2 different colors.?
I am indeed clamouring for John's thoughts on this guitar. 🙂
