  • Always makes me laugh when people give you or other tone chasers crap for using post processing when getting a studio tone. Even In Utero has post processing (most clearly heard in the reverb swells on the vocals for All Apologies)

  • 05:25 A neck humbucker was used becasue it had shorter mounting legs and would fit the Fender Body easier than a bridge position one.

  • do you know where i could get like a cheapish left handed kurt cobain guitar like a jaguar or something like that

  • I think you played turnaround like slightly wrong, the rhythm sounds off compared to the song

  • @nirvanaguitars . Thanks for your stuff. A little challenge for you, which would also help people like me that don't have Fender guitar and amp combo. How can you get a Nirvana sound with a Gibson and a Marshall??????

  • I'm so glad you did Turnaround. That was always one of my favorite covers by Nirvana. I feel like that one doesn't get as much love from fans but I always liked what they did with it. I also thought Son of a Gun was a really good cover (all 4 of these were great honestly). So cool to get the 1990 throwback. Thanks for doing this.

  • Did you have to route out the body to get the tilted humbucker in there, im working on my own guitar build and I want to do that but I dont think it will fit. This is one of my favorite nirvana tones and you did it full justice as usual!

  • what if he bought the 59 N and 59B as a set and modified both guitars at the same time to have one as a replacement for the other. similar to skystang and orangstang. Maybe he knew both pickups were probably the same based on PAF specs or similar and used it as a way to get both easily

  • Oooh I can do this one I have all the gear apart from the amp (but that won’t matter if I’m using the pedal for distortion right)

  • You think you could do the BBC session with something in the way? I’ve always loved that tone and feedback control

  • Can you make a video or short covering the correct tunings for the albums?

  • Adoro muito o seu canal, parabéns pelo trabalho de apresentar os diferentes setup de guitarra, pedais e amps que Kurt Cobain usava. Todos esses setups tem timbres sensacionais, e isso é que mais me fascino do som do Nirvana.

  • again the tone is on point as always, but to me it sounds like the clean part of d-7 was recorded with the middle pickup

  • What type of amplifier, guitar, guitar pickups, guitar pick, finger size, amplifier cable, and microphone did Kurt cobain use and do to record smells like teen spirit?
