Oh how I hate Marshall MG series… IMHO just a preamp more or less to build actual tone on it as a budget option. Still nothing like Joyo Zombie.
Nux seems solid. Saw the processor vs Valeton tests. Not bad at all. I still find Valeton most metal effect processor for that price range but there ain't backing tracks and drum looper sucks. And the Bluetooth range on Nux? Jaw drop!
I think all these reviews with close mic on the amp is kind of missing the point. The average use of this kind of amp is playing into a room, not mic’ed up.
I have the same amp as well, but somehow my distortion is really muddy, I am not sure how to adjust that
That lil sucker looks like a riot to play with and easy to use. Doesn't sound like it gets muddy when you have it loaded up like some cheap little practice amps I've had in the past, especially when you have an FX pedal patched in. Price is nice too. Awesome if space is at a premium in your house/apartment. No digging the amp out from the corner by the couch!
BTW, some nice demo chops!
