  • I was wondering like, god damn, this sounds like a japanese style guitar music and I was not wrong! I absolutely love how Japanese music sound on guitar.

  • The guy at guitar center told me you can't put nylon strings on a acoutic because they'll snap on their way trying to tune it to correct pitch. Is there a certain tuning you have to put them in on an acoustic?

  • The thing is that you have to go for high tension nylon strings to avoid the buzzing as the action on acoustic guitar is pretty low .

  • I guess I'm gonnabe the only one to say, is this a self written composition? It's fucking beautiful! I mean, great playing too! Just technical enough f you're not used to fingerpicking. It is playable with a pick to everyone reading these comments btw. BUT MY GOD that's a GFORGEOUS melody. Thank you for a great example of nylon strings on an acoustic. Perfectly bite sized. Subbing with all notifications! – leifo

  • I couldnt hear the difference of steel vs nylon strings until about 0:17 . Beautiful playing, very immaculate too. This guitarist has built so much skill its very impressive playing, and also very pleasant to listen to.

  • Was there any issues of doing this ? I’m looking to do it on a guitar I just picked up I purchased it because has a very beautiful look to it and has a look of a more classical guitar so I’d like to change the strings

  • If you are someone who wants to try nylon strings on an acoustic guitar I have some advice. First try to find the strings with the thinnest gauge, specially for the high strings to avoid intonation problems. You can also tune the strings one or two semitones higher so that the tension is a little higher and you will have less fret buzz. Even after doing these string nylon strings will still be easier to play and will sound super sweet

  • I've done something similar on my acoustic guitar with the high strings using nylon while the low strings used low tension steel strings

  • Very nice playing my friend. I've been thinking about stringing my little Martin lx1 with nylon or classical strings. Would you know if the standard length nylon strings will have enough tension on a smaller scale guitar like the lx1? I wouldn't want the strings to sound floppy. Thanks.
