  • These amps seem cool but way overpriced. The combos are $1000-$1200 up here in Canada. For the same price you can get an all-tube 1×12 from Marshall or Blackstar. The Orange is essentially a big distortion pedal in an amp-like box.

Cool video though, I dig your channel.????

  • I just discovered your channel tonight and every video I've watched has been wonderfully insightful. Thanks and keep up the great work!!!

  • I have been running an orange 1×12 on stage. Someone asked me if it was a crush. Its not. But theres no head, so i see why it confuses people. I’m running a friedman IRX into a duncan powerstage, so my “amp” is all on my pedalboard

  • Now wait a second! Both this video and the one about the Marshall were released at the same time. How did you gig with two amps?

  • I've got two Super Crush amps…a head and a combo…and what I've noticed is that, on the dirty channel, pretty much everything happens between 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock on the gain knob. Any less than that is not enough, and once you get past 3 o'clock it is too much distortion…chugging, sludgy sound. I pretty much keep my gain knob on 2 o'clock…it's the "sweet spot" where I get good distortion, articulation and sustain, but I don't get too much saturation.

  • Great video. Thanks. I preferred the sound of the Marshall on your other 9 month video. The orange sounded a bit honky and less full. You are obviously enjoying both amps.

  • Dude, you're nerdy as hell, but you're a straight shooter. There's no b***** in you and I like that. That is a rarity these days and I'm glad you're doing what you're doing because what I've seen so far. I'd like it man, so keep it up. Keep doing what you're doing man. Because it seems to be working for you and I like it. You tell it just how it is and you don't throw any b***** in there. Don't let anybody change that man.Don't start lying for any companies or anything like that.Stay true to yourself.Don't ever lose that….
