good for emulating a kazoo
Just add a tube PRE AMP TO THE BANDIT 65!! Simple fix for that amp,, build it and il buy one. ????????????????????????
Be great for them to bring the peavey stereo chorus 400 back I played one it's the best
Nope. I still remember how the company screwed over their workers all while in complete denial about how they treated their employees on the show.
a $40 chinese practice amp being sold by Peavey for $300. they certainly aren't bashful are they?
I had a decade. First amp in 1985. It did not sound like this. Lol
Finally a signature amp I can afford!
Someone’s never played in a band
I want this so bad!!!
Always enjoy your vids.
so…. do we actually know what he ACTUALLY used the decade on? what song we can hear it on?
Greg Ginn played a Peavey PA for his classic tone. They should package that in a pedal or something.
Are we really all just going to pretend that these sound good and aren't bottom of the barrel practice amps? Seriously. We couldn't wait to upgrade to something better than these decades ago. The combination of QOTSA using them (mixed with various other amps and gear recorded and mixed in a million dollar studio) and nostalgia because us older guys are trying to reconnect with our youth is making us long for things that were basically crap to begin with
Backstage
I have one in my basement… with a 15 inch speaker .. classic sound
T40 and T60 reissues would be amazing!
Mosquito distortion strikes back
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
But…. will it CHUG? ????
I make the same noise with a Boss Metal Zone pedal and Pignose amp.
Better than Mr. Dumble's tones.
Oi, fake Josh. You'd one job, play a QOTSA riff, haha.
I always heard Josh was trolling when he said this was the amo he used
I don't know. I like the older heavier peavies. My very 1st amp was the Peavey Stereo Chorus 400. A 2×12 combo I bought with money from delivering newspapers as a 13yo. Bought it in salt lake city in 1985 as well as my first (electric) axe an Ibanez rsII440 made in Korea not the Japanese version which was like $700-900 usd.
ster
Undercover Boss = Made in PRC
I don’t understand. It just sounds like a crappy little solid state amp to me.
Release it as a pedal
So nobody is going to talk about when these will be available..?????
first off, where is the feed back? second, don't know if you know this but Josh Homme is a grade A smartass. I don't think the Decade is how he got/gets his sound. and thirdly, $300 is insane for a practice amp that sounds the same as every other $20 practice amp you buy when you first start playing guitar. For that money go buy a used redline Peavey TransTube 212 EFX one of the best all/everything in one amps out there.
It sounds exactly as expected ????
Reissue the Teal Stripe Bandit! I have never owned a better sounding solid state amp than a Teal Stripe Bandit.
Also the little Teal Rage amps sounded great for a small practice amp.
"there goes your youtube money" haha
I had a peavey bandit for 30 years. You can't buy Peavey in New Zealand anymore. I looked everywhere. I had to get a Supro last year because I couldn't get a replacement peavey.
Excellent amp!! ????????????????
