Pink Floyd, “Run Like Hell” guitar lesson. We’re using the Malekko Ekko 616 MKII to lend analog warmth to a famous dotted eighth delay sound. The Mark II version of the E616 produces a wider frequency range and louder repeat which lends the needed strength and feedback heard in this classic Gilmour riff. Run Like Hell also utilizes a drop D tuning to give a droning sound in both the main riff and verse. The analog modulation built into the Malekko E616 also covers the chorus effect you hear in Pink Floyd’s recording of this song. Enjoy your daily guitar lesson.
