Thank you!
Great tutorial! I was wondering, how would I indicate pizz. for the thumb with “normal” for the fingers?
I’m writing an arrangement with the melody ringing out and a muted bass arpeggio-pattern.
That’s a beautiful original composition. Do you have albums? I looked your name up on Apple Music, there is an artist on there with the same name but it’s most definitely not you. ????
Watch David Russell murder some really sick pizzicato on Pujol's Guajiha,

I can emulate the sound of bowing, too. I simply run tremolo Bumblebee fast using one finger, any finger, no nail, flesh. I can emulate a string orchestra running several tremolos at once. Otherwise our playing style is very similar. Vltava by Smetana is my best, emulating harp and bows.
Classy composition????
Can you cover 2nd verse of Move Along by American Rejects, the guitar sounds like violin on that part
mm pizza i mean pizzicato
This is incredible. Been trying to figure out how to emulate the sound you get on yearnings of the wind and didn’t realize you had a video perfectly explaining it! Miles beyond any other video I found
Great lesson!
I came because I want to learn how to play the mandalorean theme. Please make a tutu, you are the best
???? promosm
You continue to amaze me with your dissection, demonstration and explanation of another fun piece of music. Thank you! God bless you!
Us Electric Guitar Players are very familiar with this technique, nice to see it's transferable to the Classical Guitar
… I'll be exploring this more when I next pick up my Nylon ????????
Can u do a pros and cons of the classical guitar video pls?????? Amazing video as always…
Loved it. Thanks.
I love the videos on this channel, they really help me learn and progress as a self taught guitarist. I would love to see a video on how you shape and maintain your nails! ????
❤️ thanks bro ????
This video made me almost pizz myself.
Genial ????
brilliant tutorial video
I had self taught myself a very basic understanding and execution of pizzacto or palm-muted (as my peasant self calls it haha!) tones, but this video helped broaden that knowledge substantially!
“As the peasants called it… palm muting.” LOLOLOL ????????
Awesome Nathan! Very well done! As are your classes and other videos. ????????
My favorite is the pizz. with the finger on the treble strings. I use it all the time????
Very cool.
One of my favourite techniques generally. I love when violinists use it. It's so good that we can also play it on the guitar. 😉 The guitar sound of pizz. is different yet beautiful.
Thanks! This is fun!
Wow!! Super helpful! Thank you
That is awesome, I never really thought about how palm muting was borrowed from violin pizzicato! But that makes sense! Love this arrangement as well!
haven't watched the video yet, but I already know it will be a good one!
What piece have you learned or are currently learning that uses pizzicato? Leave me a comment!
