The A chord moved up two frets, i use this progression for Evergreen ❤????,thanks for posting, aYouTube ❤
man you're pretty:)
Thanks for a great lesson. It would be nice to see you use the chords in a complete progression to see how they combine to form a complete musical idea.
????
C up two frets is the pretty chord from the prechorus of Jumper by Third Eye Blind.
Nice one
Nice! Theory is not mandatory. If you want to learn it and have headaches you can but it's no necessary. I tried may times but too hard for me. This is way more fun and practical.
Cheers M8
Powerful chords
Nice one
It sounds goo!
Does the chord stays the same?
Awesome! Thank you!
I love Your feeling analysis of the chords.
I've recently learned Story In Your Eyes by Moody Blues, and ot uses shape shift chords like that in the intro.
Yes it's magical. Good job.
thank u so much mate????????????
I'm thinking you can move all open chords and move 2 frets all the way to the 12th fret and start all over again with a higher octave.
I'm going to use common sense and use this method the same way. My acoustic guitar got stolen and I have a new one on the way. When I learn these I'm going to use them on my electric guitars because I have a acoustic guitar amp and two electric guitar amps with acoustic mode and excellent clean choices.
I've mentioned before that I can't afford his lessons personal so I save all his YOU TUBE lessons and practice them. You the man Eddie.
He's the best guitar teacher ever especially online.
Thank you for the lesson here in New York City listening. I found a guitar on December 2nd 2021. I don't know why somebody threw it out but now I play the guitar and so here I am in YouTube trying to get better with this beautiful instrument thanks again
Th A to B is from Rush Xanadu on 2112
I am here for the secret! ????
Learning without guitar…!!
Great video! I had been experimenting just recently in fact with this type of thing. Mainly actually with the two chords mentioned here. I took it down the neck 3 times. Granted, D got more difficult the closer the frets got together, but made the A more easy. For some reason it never occurred to me to try this with the C chord. I bet it gets easier to make the C chord shape the further down the neck you go. Thanks for this video! I've been playing a while, but still have trouble with chords. This was a nice reminder to give this a try with other chords besides just the two I was using.
nice
Do Gsus4. I do the one all the time. You can also do Esus2. Move that one from the second fret to the fourth fret, and then to the seventh fret. I love that sound
i apprecited, it sound great
I always had trouble playing fast song like double and triple beat as a kid i always played Eagles musik wich is so easy for me can you help me even if i’m 60 years old please if you can please help me learn to play fast song because at Church the leader plays every song in triple beat
lol
thanks
Don’t fret ✌????
For the D chord, you can further go up or ascend creating more surprises ! I found at least three more cool discoveries just with this D chord position, blending with arpeggios and strumming.
R.E.M.'s "Man on the Moon" is based on that C sliding up 2 frets to D — sounds just like it when you play it.
Thanks Eddie, I like this lesson!!! Sounds cool.
Great video
I often play D in the C slide position it sounds virtually identical as D within the context of a song.
The "C" shift makes me think of Simon & Garfunkel.
The "D" shift sounds like the "Underture" by the Who.
For the E chord shape, try moving it up 3 fret, 5 frets, 7 frets, and 12 frets.
(Something like E major, and inversions of E minor 7, A 2 or A add 9, some sort of B7 / 5 type thing, and E octave?)
Thank you Sir, every little bit helps to make it more interesting. Keep teaching. ????????????????????????
This is Alex Lifeson Xanadu stuff for sure. Keep moving up the neck with the same shapes to unlock more possibilities
That's good sir….????????
Thanks for sharing your talent master, i have a learn from you.,✌️✌️✌️
Love this????
Been familiar with the C version for a long time, I think it fell out of a Marc Bolan song. Thankfully, finally I know what it is.
