Produce PRO Acoustic Guitar in Studio One 5!
I go over how I produce acoustic guitar on a session I’m working on.
The most common method I use is micing on the 12th fret record two passes to wide pan for a true stereo double.

Man, that sounds so good and you work so fast!
Ain't got a clue bro IMO SM81? Haha Yikes. So sad for all the YT ding dongs that think these posts represent what true pros do. This is just another YT video for musicians that think they can become engineers. Boo Hoo
Hello Mr.
Can you help me in providing guitar and vocal effects.
I'm currently covering songs, but the sound is still not good, can MR help me improve the quality of my guitar and vocals?
If possible, please reply to this comment… Ths Mr.
Thanks for this. I haven't tried the buss technique on acoustic and I like how it tightened up. Also like how it layer with the other acoustic at 11:00 and the lap steel (?) at around 10:00ish. Good stuff. Much appreciated.
Hi. Thanks for this video. Would have been nice to know what mic brand and model you used. Looks like the Shure SM81. Also did you use a preamp?
nice !
nice
Hi there Forest, love your channel and to be honest most of the material you work on. Sweet chords man. Keep up the good work, your advice is fierce .
Loving the videos.
Love the video Forest , just one suggestion , when your showing final sound maybe just hit that C key and turn of the metronome
Hey Forest – What mic and acoustic are you using here? I also need to remember to use my capo more!
What type of acoustic guitar do you have?
This sounds amazing…!!!
Guitar model?
No song
Hey Forest you are a life-saver!!! Awesome information here. If it isn't too much to ask, could you do a video going over mixing guitar layers? Every time I try to mix several layers, they come out muddy
Love this! Super helpful
On the guitar what type of compression if any did u use when it was initially recorded? Thx great video!
Can't beat the wall "decor".
