  • I love the action and the PU are their version of the Seymour Duncan Blackouts…sound pretty dang good…even clean creamy blues

  • It's even better with your choice of strings. She handles baritone strings very well. Make sure to get a wrap for the strings if you do.

  • I have one, in white, love it, so solid, record tracks with it all the time. Getting ready to upgrade the pickups to Fishmans. I just got an SLS Elite with Fishmans and it changed my whole view of pickups. Anyway, I just released a video review of my Demon 7 Guitar and an overview of my modification plan. Also, upgrading lots of other stuff. Schecter is perfect for it, since the foundation is solid IMO. JediJingleMaker says "Thanks Schecter, I am stoked!". Here is my corny video, heh, https://youtu.be/qhdj9vbpqVg

  • This was my first real guitar, and it's so good. Especially at its price point, it's pretty hard to beat imo. I swapped the pickups later because I wanted a hotter set but the stock ones do just fine. The only complaint I have is that (and it's no fault of the guitar) my hands are small so I do better with a shorter length but if I don't have any stretches to do I play on this one perfectly fine.

  • This is going to be my 2nd guitar. Let's just say I am excited. Will update once I get it.

Okay, I've got it now. It was mid in price (450 on Musician's Friend), pretty in color, and plays like a legend. It's a bit heavy but sounds just as heavy as it weighs. Definitely recommend.

  • I found one at a pawn shop with a crate amp for $199.99. I put it on layaway for my son's birthday but I might have to keep it for myself.

  • I got this guitar yesterday, the newer models say schecter on the pickups but they are the same as these. It's an awesome bang for your buck sort of guitar and a must have for metal players on a budget

  • Just bought mine online with the HB – 105 active Humbuckers. I wanted the Platinum but couldn't afford the extra $150 lol haven't received it yet but it has a lot of good reviews so I'm looking forward to it! I'll post a review in a reply to this comment when I play it.

  • If you use any strings heavier than a 9 it will void your warranty. Just saying read the instructions?

  • I don't even play that well. In fact, I pretty much stink. But it's the best all around guitar I've ever had. And I've had more than a few. The Duncan design pups really deliver – they sound crispy & mean. Had a hard time putting down for the first couple of moths. And I didn't even care for the color. I mean it's ok. It was just fun to play.

  • I bought this a month ago for $300.00 (July 2019) and this SOB is one mean guitar! Love the tone on it and I can't put it down. I get some of the meanest growls and pinch harmonics on it.

  • Bought it for 400$. Quality is easily like thedouble the price instrument. Sounds best for rock/metal, but has some versatility too.

  • This guy is great… (ridiculous solo) "Casually telling you about this while…" (cut to guitar; 'I blow your face off with more soloing') "And this other feature…" (solo; a million times better than you) "…and finally this feature." (Yeah, I'm ridiculous on guitar)
