PRS SE Mark Tremonti Signature Guitar Review & Demo.

If you’re a fan of Creed, Alter Bridge and Tremonti, you must be fan of the man behind those riffs, Mark Tremonti. He is an AMAZING song writer and riff machine. He also has a signature guitar with our friends over at Paul Reed Smith guitars, or PRS. Now the American made version might put a dent in your finances, but that is where the PRS SE line shines amongst the rest. While they are not the most afforadable guitar you can buy, they definitely hit way above their price point in terms of quality and sound. But, can you get the Mark Tremonti sound, inspriation and playability on an Indonesian made version of his instrument? With a PRS SE, you can rest assured that no matter who you want to sound like, play like or look like, you will get that in spades and have some money left over for your rent with a PRS SE Mark Tremonti…or any of the other fantastic models in the SE range.

Hey everybody and welcome back to my pink room of doom, as always, I hope you’re doing well today! My name is Jonathan and I run the Electric Flamingo channel here on YouTube, the only and best flamingo themed guitar channel on the platform! Why am I here? Just to have fun, discuss guitars, gear, music and everything in between in the guitar player’s world! I have played guitar for almost 15 years at this point, I have recorded music for a little under that, probably about 13 years or so. I am not a professional by any means, but it’s all in good fun and I enjoy doing it! I try to include lots of different types of content in my uploads. Skits, reviews, demos, discussions, etc. I’m always open for suggestions as well, so if you have anything you would like to see or hear me talk about, please leave me a comment or contact me on Instagram and I will do my best to fill that request!

  • I have one too. It’s not as good as the American Core model and I wish they gave a stoptail version in SE. However it’s a great guitar for the price and it’s easy to mod if you want to put Tremonti Core pickups in and SE locking tuners. You can also easily change the nut and the knobs on it but it adds little to the tone of the guitar. I got mine B stock for a 300 and it hadn’t a scratch on it. It was missing the tremolo bar so I ordered a replacement for 15 and had a great guitar. Couldn’t beat it for the money. Interested to see what Myles Kennedy SE signature is like when it comes out 🙂

  • Whats the best prs under 1000 bucks that can play everything like country to death metal or blues to funk? I have such a wide range of taste and dont have money for tons of guitars so i was thinking about this one or the swamp ash special with the extra single coil pickup but im retarded and kknow nothing about guitars so your advice would be appreciated

  • Didn't know rhe binding is painted on? Great review. I'm looking for another Tremonti after I sold my 2006 stoptail. Gonna grab one of these.

  • Love that! Great review! I have the same finish on my SE 245 that has a stoptail instead. It unfortunately has the wide fat neck profile and it's practically unplayable for me. I also have a standard 24 that's perfect. Definitely looking into one of these. Thanks ????

  • Thanks for the review!! Thinking about buying one of these….price isn't bad and PRS puts out quality guitars.

  • Pisses me off that the back control cavities on the back are not recessed. I’ve only ever seen a few that were. To me it totally kills the vibe with how cheap it makes it look.

  • Nothing wrong with guitars made in Indonesia. My Lee Malia Explorer is Indonesian in origin and I have to say, the bulid quality and craftsmanship is far superior to Chinese Epiphones. Good way to save thousands!
