Just seeing this video now, 3 years lafter you made it- very clever the way you changed strings and made me work out what you did 🙂
Time to fish out the ol’ Warwick thumb.
These are fun to watch and learn. Plus all relevant literature is added. Hehe.
I can see kids say it’s boring to practice the same thing. But that is quickly dispelled.
this is outstanding!
That one-bar segment reminds me impeccably of “Moondance”. Have others said as much?
Jim, you’d probably convince anyone to want to play Jazz.
great stuff and energy
A good one to take to the looper. All smiles here, too.
Hello!! Man was that fun.. At 61, I've been playing guitar over 45 year and just got a bass last year.. I think I've missed my calling… Shoulda had a bass all along.. Thanks for the killer lessons

This is wonderful! Thanks, Jim. I could do this all day!
This is great. Getting it under my fingers.
Wow! You are so inspiring! I was tired and done for the evening, but I just had to join in and jam along. You really lay it out and just really encouraged me to try out stuff, because you are just so caring and infectious with your joy. What a credit to teaching bass you are. I will be watching all of your videos. Great tone! And it is easy to pick up some great riffs because of how well you show it and film it; great sound as well.
Wow very good stuff here! Didn’t like it I loved it! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Solid lesson, as usual ????
great sound and feel
After playing bass for 48 years, I can still learn stuff from this guy.
