  • John, if only you could play it in a manner that makes me want to buy one…wait, you just had it.

  • For $2000 usd you'd think they'd put an original Floyd Rose on instead of the 1000..which don't have a good reputation. But they seem to be putting them on everything these days.

  • Wow! That is a cool and uniquely designed guitar! Vernon is a amazing and underrated guitar player by far! 🙂

  • Thank you so much for this. Reverend makes great guitars, but their videos are always a bit (to be polite) underwhelming… Can't properly understand voices, all guitar tones demoed are poorly miked and generally in near-tinnitus territory, telling you nothing about the instrument. You did prove what I have hoped/expected – this sounds as great as it looks. Not sure if I am willing to put up with the FR, would buy a version with Reverend's usual Wilkinson vibrato instantly (I have that in the Dirtbike and it awesome). Have to think about it…

  • The bass contour knob is exactly a cool feature on the majority of Reverend guitars – despite e. g. Greg Koch's signature. A luthier built me a hollowbody guitar based on a T-style shape. I asked for such a bass contour poti, too, he managed it. It's cool to thin or thicken your sound by rolling the poti.

In terms of double locking vibratos, real Floyds or Ibanez Edges are standard, but the aren't massive, neither fully stainless. I went a different way with the Tremoline FT36, that improved the performance and tone of my Peavey HP2 NOS.

@John: Great walk through, excellent playing indeed!

  • Thank you so much for demoing the clean and crunchy tones ????

That is precisely what many of us wonder with a guitar that can shred the way it can????????

    It sounds quite good ????????

  • Maybe the most strikingly cool signature guitar I've ever seen! Great job Reverend! Would love to play this.

  • I am going to disagree with some of my guitars brethren and sistern. I think YET ANOTHER sig model from this guy is a joke and so insincere. And ALL sucked and were flops.

  • I love Vernon Reid and that is probably a phenomenal guitar spec wise but that 90's strip mall coffee house sofa upholstery aesthetic might affect sales .(a good sigature model is one that players that never heard of you or even actively dislike you would still think is cool)

  • I have never picked up a Reverend guitar, but I would love to try one. This guitar looks awesome. Dig the inlays, picups and the overall design. Well done on this review John. Until next time, keep rocking. ????
