He kept using the word "extreme' so often that the whole thing became… a token of his extreme.
"Why don't you play us out".. continues to shove the mic in his face.. lol
Don't get too excited guy, you're only getting a rundown on one of the coolest Riggs ever put together.
How did this interviewer get the job?
Terrific young man and guitar player. I saw him on this tour at the Belly Up in San Diego. Great show plus afterwards he and the band came out on the floor to shake hands, sign autographs and chat. Rarely do bands interact with the fans like that. He also told his story of the family fighting with him for doing his Dad's music and using the Zappa name. Huh? Apparently the half brothers/sisters wanted a kickback. Tragic.
Always so gracious! Great human. Thanks!
Where are the Fractals?
I got a new zappa gibson now I pee red
this how interviews should be. thanks Dweezil
Dweezil obviously inherited Franks large Brain
Doesn't the sg have an epi head with the Gibson logo.
Very interesting to hear all about these different wah pedals sounds.
Roxy-era SG. My favorite FZ lineup. How great to have gotten Napoleon in the ZPZ band.
Dweezil is great….I've become a fan. And his love for EVH is huge…makes him even cooler for me.
My favorite rig rundown ever…it's so cool how Dwees takes his time and shows us all the details and different sounds.
He looks Aiden Quinn.
This was like a graduate course on pedals! Dweez actually played the pedals whereas other player’s techs simply point at the boxes.
His show is imitating his dad?
8:45 Never thought a pedal board could look so good.
Dweezil and his Father are 2 of my favorite Musician's.
And Frank is the Finest American Composer in our short History, in my self-centered opinion.
Man, now i wanna Gibson with a maple headstock
Dweezil ???? No offense but wtf kind of name is that??
Dweezil is such a great guitarist, and he's never had the credit that he deserves.
I think I remember Frank saying in a Guitar Player article that there was some piezo pickups in the neck at one point. There was not any detail on the type of piezo (I guess they had to be really small or customized). This was to get a more percussive sound. Did I dream this up ? Maybe it was another guitar ?
His father would be proud… Frank was one of the most amazing musicians on the planet and his sons love for him shows in this interview despite a rotten cameraman! He is poised, generous of his time and gracious… and so much a gentleman…don’t see much of that these days, this is a pleasure!
So many questions you missed about his guitar……the tuners? The neck maple? The nut? pickup types.
There are two types of guitarists in the world: those who do their own Rig Rundowns, and those who make their techs do it.
Much respect to the guitarists who do their own rundowns.
Do this again please!!
All these "great" guitarists. Dweezil, and so many others now, need a hundred different pedals and gimmicks to be a great sounding player. The greatest electric guitar player of all time used two, a wah wah and a fuzz box, yet when he played you heard sounds that, even these dudes with all their gimmicks can't make. We all know that virtuoso as Jimi.
Dweezil seems really bored with this entire thing
hey camera guy…try focusing your camera
crap camera
So he has (two) Fractal Axe II but he still needs pedals?????♂️ I obviously am missing something…
This the guitar that Americans Airlines broke the headstock?
Jason and the cameraman make this one of the worst Rundowns
Boston hyper space pedal lol
