lol…he barely plays bass …other bass player does the hard work
David Gilmour played all the iconic basslines. Should be looking at his rig.
Let me guess….I bet you thought that Roger was going to be there right?..:)..I bet he isn't into the techy side of his instruments etc…a lot of them from that time don't…they just know the sound they want
Gilmour played all the interesting bass parts on the records and live the 2nd bass player does the same…. Not dissing Roger but he isn't responsible for 75% of the pink Floyd bass sound…
Interesting how literally everything has a backup. For highstake stadium shows you really don't want to risk gear failing.
Cool! Been using the same Dunlopp picks for years.
Still kicking myself for missing this tour.
Such a boring Rig Rundown, especially for a legendary rockstar with that kind of gear, damn. Khruangbin's was way more exciting and Laura only has a cheap SX jazz bass knock off, still with the original strings when she bought the bass. 8 year old strings IIRC.
He never explains WHAT the vintage one is parts wise . Dumb
They both look and sound bored shitless…. disappointing!
The most useless rig rundown ever, thanks for nothing
It's a pretty standard stock hybrid clone with some things done to it.
Hmmm, strings on original ones looks like flatwounds, so that would be roto 77's, but tech says roto 66
4:03 "His amps looks like he's using a pair of Ampeg SVT-6 Pros" Blimey, your observational skills truly are a wonder sir. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Bring back Rebecca Derps!
"This is where we have Rogers lip synching and pre recorded tracks" LOL
It's a clone. Fender CLOOONED it. So it's a clone. No wait. This is the original. Totally stock. A hybrid, a few things done to it. So they CLOOOONED it. And Roger loves black.
Sack the camera man
The camera work is making me dizzy.
Weak..! he tech guy, info about the P-bass would have been useful..Year, changes made etc etc..too many New Castle's I imagine eh..!
Colin seems a little tight.
Its all free right, no security at the border show?
These rundowns show us who the REAL humble musicians are.
Most of the people will come and do the interview themselves, but the ones who feel they are TOO GOOD to do anything like that have their techs do the interviews for them.
What strings did Colin say Roger is using on his bass?
In what songs does he use the Baseballs?
Where is Rodger. Is he too good to come down and talk to the commoners
2:40 tech misses spinal tap reference
"kloun"
Very disappointing,
Expected to hear more technical info.
The worse Rig Rundown.
He play an Harley Benton?
personally the rig rundowns with Snowy White, G.E and Dave is the best
cos this is Colin Lyon rig rundown
we need to see Steve Harris' rig. PG, please!
it bugs me when someone uses countersink straploks and don'l countersink them
Syd had to tune Rogers bass. Thank god for the bells and whistles I reckon.
this guy sucks. rebecca 4 life
After watching the Black Keys guitar tech compared to this guy, omg does Roger's tech know anything?
Would have been nice to hear some specs of the bass, rather than it's been cloned and sounds fantastic. What pickups, neck or other features not on a standard P bass…
Attack of the clones!
his description is as bad as my spelling
this guy speaks marsion…one the hell is he on? I've never heard such utter bollocks.
