Rockville Audio 10” sub and amp review and demo

Quick walk-around video of newly installed Rockville Audio 10″ sub. Vehicle is a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport (4dr sedan). This is the 2ohm version.

In-car video (just iPhone 12mini recording): https://youtube.com/shorts/kTzfqoGzHBg?feature=share

*Rockville Single 10″ K5 subwoofer:

600w Program
300w RMS
Single 2ohm, or Single 4ohm voicecoils

*Rockville dB11 Class-D monoblock amplifier
2 Ohm: 350 Watts RMS
4 Ohm: 220 Watts RMS
2 Ohm: 1400 Watts x 1 Channel Peak
4 Ohm: 880 Watts x 1 Channel Peak
(included amp dyno cert shows 396w RMS @ 2ohms, 235w RMS @ 4ohms for my actual amp)

*Single 10″ ported enclosure (amp wiring kit included in package/bundle on their website)

Buy the 4ohm bundle here: https://www.rockvilleaudio.com/sk510-package/
@RockvilleAudio
Only $165!!!

Note: The 2ohm speaker handles louder volumes much better. Doesnt give up early and rattles the trunk. I bought the 4ohm version/bundle originally, which sounds great, but then got the 2ohm sub separately. Just wanted the extra wattage, which is worth it if you like it loud. Customer Tech support was great, and shipped me the new 2ohm in 3days. (Thanks Carlos!)

This is a solid amp/enclosure/sub combo for beginners, or even those with experience but on a budget. $200 is a steal for this combo (even the 4ohm version). Again, I would opt for you to get the 2ohm version.

The 2ohm vs. 4ohm subs sound identical at low to mid volume, but when you get it loud, the 2ohm totally shines. It just takes it. Sorry for amount of text here in this description. lol

  • I buying this sub kit for $169 and putting it in my 2017 nissan versa sedan paired with a kenwood headunit and kicker speakers. I hope it makes my drums pounding of my metal music

  • I just gotta say it. Its so refreshing to hear some metal in a sub video. I love some old school hip hop but THANK YOU. It seems everyone thinks subs are for rap, but ALL GENRES benefit from proper frequency reproduction. Even Mozart. Thanks again +sub m/

  • Dude you posted exactly what I was looking to see I'm more into metal but I'm just trying to replicate that concert feel a bit plus the car I'm working on only accepts 5 in a quarter inch speakers good for mid and hi but lacking in bass I will be ordering this kit probably pretty soon

  • Finally a demo with some good music! I’m tired of just hip hop and rap demos. It’s hard to get a god judge of how metal sounds especially with double bass and bass guitar I feel like it’s too much for speakers at time to push everything. Good vid my dude
