  • guys, seriously tell me what are those phrygian or dorian all about? It's redicious! What are you talking about using the same equal tempered system? What are you talking about? Phrygian and Dorian and whatever could use quite different tonal system where some notes could sound microtones different from the normal guitar equal tempered fretboard. In that case check out one Turkish guitar player who started using the Turkish microtonal fretboard to get the notes not available with the normal one. His channel is even called that way: @microtonalguitar. In the microtonal fretboard all those phrygian or dorian stuff can be more available, I guess. If phrygian is about sequence of nore passages then may be you are right. Actually, all those music theory books can be thrown away once they also describe stuff which can literally be unavailable in the normal equal tempered notation system.
