So true about what happened to Paul Dianno. Truly tragic that no one was there to coach him.
Awesome!!
That sounds amazing!! An Impulse Response pack would be amazing!! I bet you’d have a lot of customers! Great work
Amazing, just amazing. Took me right back to 1980 when I saw them for the first time in a tiny local venue. Unbelievable when you think of how massive they are now.
Awesome video – thanks!
Cheers fellow bloodbrother UP THE IRONS much appreciated have seen Iron Maiden 10 times brillant brillant band me much alike have been a NWOBHM ,and all types of Metal thrash,Speed and Gothic have been a drummer for years rattling the hi-hat to the snare drum to the bass kick pedals to the tom toms and go from ride cymbal to top cymbals.Your guitar sound matches early Maiden cheers Declan????????????????????????????????
I think there's an amp now, that listens to a section of the song and produces the tone for you, a friend spoke about it to me, not sure if you've heard of it. I play Phantom of the Opera too, the tone of that is not so bad to reproduce, it's the real difficult stuff like that of Hallowed Be Thy Name that is so hard to copy.
Great stuff, love it ????
I would never say the 1st album was the best..
But im perfectly fine with anybody that has that opinion.
To me the band exploded when Dickinson came in.
It wasnt just he was an immensely better singer, Bruce to me is the greatest frontman of all time.
Maiden still has that passion 45 years later
Rabid no.. Loyal yes..
Help me out here, if they had three pedals boosting before the amp, how did they not have unusable levels of noise without a noise gate?
So you point the mike between the cabs. Got it.
Saw them in 86 round that time bands started using a lot of rack mount stuff tapering was the big stacks on stage ???????????????? BTW I notice similarities to mercyful fate in maiden of course maiden branched off to galloping music !!!
They were so much better with Paul and Clive imo
What cabinet speakers would they use?

Great job. I too love that first album I ever heard of them
Great video!
Love early Iron Maiden. m/
The secret is a strat.
Bro you put some much effort into this. Amazing job bro.
Eather you are playing unplugged to the track or you completely got it.
Powerslave is the best maiden album
Sounds exactly THE SAME.
Great video. What effect in the clean guitar sound of Strange World?
Killers is the ONLY Maiden album … still have the original Vinyl … never listened after D'anno left.
I've got an Electra Omega LP. A very solid Axe. Got it for $125 30 years ago. I'll never sell it
Thanks for this – been too long… Phantom and Maiden was the reason for picking up a guitar.
Beautifully played. Never tire of the Maiden????????
I haven't really understood much about their early equipment, did both Murray and Strutton go straight in to their plexis? or did they use any sort of boost or overdrive pedal? as far as I read around the net Murray added the MRX Distortion + from the number of the beast on, so not sure if he was straight into his super lead or anything else in the first album.
Up The Irons!!!!!
Sounds just like them!
10:12 YOU´LL have a youtube copyright notification anyway , although the tone was different .Due in this case you kept it voice drums and bass ,so … it s what it is .
Thanks for the tip on the mic. I found one in the rubbish pile of old PA Equipment. Being what it makes it ideal for the back of a speaker with a 57 on the front.????????
Can I just put in a good word for Paul Dianno. There's a lot of bullshit about the guy. He lives near me and Ive gotten to know him over the years. I just want to say that I've always found him to be a bloody good bloke. He always has time for a chat with his fans and will buy you a pint. He loves chatting about his career and music in general. So I just wanted you all to know that he's a good guy don't believe the hype. BTw I've chatted with Steve Harris as well and he's good to meet as well, but he's not as personable as Dianno. I love the Iron Maiden story, going round the country in the green truck, there's a band that deserve their place in metal history. People go on about the jumbo jet etc. But my god have they worked for it. Respect to the irons. Of course Seventh Son is one of the greatest occult albums of all time, and as a whole one of the greatest concept albums of all time, that all and in spite of that strewn with mainstream pop hits, just amazing. Look up author Davy Lyons synopsis of the story behind the album, it's brilliant even if you totally get it already.
I come back to this video a lot, it’s what really helped me get into Iron Maiden and it’s so well made man. Amazing video I think my favorite of all the ones you’ve made
