  • Lamer than a one legged duck. You can get all you need without superfluous options with some push pull pots and a stock switch. Or use a Freeway from Stewmac. Maybe get this for a studio guitar or for learning what sounds one likes before hard wiring a guitar. This switch really doesnt seem worthwhile. Especially since you can't access very many tones on the fly compared to the options i said above.

  • Serious question: How often do people change the switch configuration on a guitar (by soldering wires differently)? I am only playing since 1973 and went through well over a hundred guitars… Yes, I did change pots, went between 50s and modern wiring, installed and removed treble bleeds, added mini switches for split/phase/parallel stuff… I never changed a switch configuration (other than installing a Freeway switch in a HSH Strat once – will never do that again).

  • Interesting device, but I wouldn't buy it.149 bucks just for Bluetooth. I really miss the pure analog devices back in my days ????

  • Honestly this device probably has bluetooth BLE which tends to require this location permission thing to be turned on to locate the device.

  • It’ll be easy to tell if it’s using a mixer or solid state switching, because the impedance at the output of the switch won’t change because it’ll be buffered.
