My name is Jens Larsen, Danish Jazz Guitarist, and Educator. The videos on this channel will help you explore and enjoy Jazz. Some of it is how to play jazz guitar, but other videos are more on Music Theory like Jazz Chords or advice on how to practice and learn Jazz, on guitar or any other instrument.
The videos are mostly jazz guitar lessons, but also music theory, analysis of songs and videos on jazz guitars.

Here's one for m7 chords: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97yGgoIq4QM&list=PLWYuNvZPqqcHYkquTyeFOr4UNiUcL15CO
Great lines!
Can I borrow the track?
this is arpeggio?
Lick #4 is swinging! Thanks.
Bravissimo
They sound great. I did a screenshot of each one, and managed to catch them all on the first go!???? So I guess I have a ways to go to play them on demand!
Thanks.
What's your guitar setting recommendation on doing that on a strat
Dang that’s some tasty stuff. Thanks for sharing!
I like that. He dispenses with the bull and gets right down to it.
Kinda Charlie Christian meets Wes montgomery
Its one of the best lessons on YouTube, man ????
Really appreciate and enjoyed this! Thanks so much.????????
Thanks for these licks Jens, very helpful and got my mind more into the playfulness of the actual sounding of chords
Faltou mostrar como fica tudo junto hahaha mto bom ????????????????
Thank you! Exactly what i was hoping to find
Thanks for the lesson! What's the name of this song?
Short and sweet! I’m taking the same licks and playing them on the 9th fret G7. Thanks for posting.
thank you master ????
Thanks Jens! would love to see more of these in Maj7 min7 and dim7.
God bless
Tasteful… as always, good man.
Lydian Augmented .. D melodic minor
I was teaching a jazz lesson today and used this video. Thanks so much! Great stuff.
Nice!!!????
Thanks for the video, Jens. I will study this in depth.
Great drummer, great bassist, good rhythm guitar. :).
Soloist? Beautiful TONE!
Nice. Lately I've working on converting the altered dominant licks in your "15 II V I licks- Altered Dominants" e-book back into regular dominant licks.
I remember asking you years ago about semi hollows and hollow guitars, glad to see that youre still producing quality content
Sweet ????
How can the music have no value at all and not touch your inner being? – here is how..!
Thank you, Jens!
Love this, Jens! Keep ‘em coming!
If one wanted to recreate the bass line in the backing track would it just be notes within the G7 scale?
Hmmm my post from just before seems to be gone. I really like the stuff you present here. I wanted to download the PDF but after having signed in to the newsletter I couldn't find the PDF on the page that followed.
good short format ! thanks
quick and right to the point ! just how i like it
take care
i was wondering, i been practice this thing i call melodic contour, where i create a melody shape and apply it to many contexts altering it to fit the new context ( in order to explore different melody)
is this something normal? ( do you work on a similar thing as this also fine sir?)
thanks! love it
This is great. Accoding to the ad I need rock hard abs like a navy seal, but I much prefer expanding my jazz vocabulary. 😉
Wow! That’s a lot of great information in a short space of time!
Saving for later. Thanks!
Jens do you relealize, tab notation functions as a mirror image to actual playing? The camera angle is opposite from the "top down " perspective of the student
Pls Jens can you share some tips about solo jazz guitar, about the way to play (chord melody or not, runs etc), but maybe it's not your specialty so i dont know, but that would be helpful ! Thanks for the cool licks!
