  • Great vid but can you please explain why you're referring to those groups of 5's as "triplets" instead of quintuplets?

  • Been playing bass for like 6 years, I’d say I’m pretty competent, but never been any good at slapping

  • I love your videos!!!!! This video leads to me to the question why do you suggest the pointer finger to initially pop? This technique would suggest otherwise? You seem to be tall with big hands. I'm more comfortable popping with my middle finger in general, how do you feel about that?

  • Hey Scott, got a weird request: how about a tutorial video on slap bass and/or killer fill-ins for lefties playing upside down (i.e., Jimmy Haslip)?

  • I have to say it: how in the world is it possible that just about every slap bass teacher i watched on YouTube (including you!) does not (DOES NOT!) have a proper video in which is explained VERY CLEARLY how to get the left and right hand movements coöperation done for a 16th notes rhythm ON WHICH YOU CAN BUILD FURTHER ON?? How in the world is it possible? They all make loads of instructional videos but thén they don't talk during the video, then they don't explain enough, then they skip what people that watch want to know and go from beginner to beast slap mode. EXPLAIN TWO HANDS WORKING TOGETHER ON A 16TH NOTE SLAP RHYTHM, FROM WHERE EVERYONE CAN WORK FURTHER! Thank you. A very frustrated viewer.

  • Scott, can you tell me where to buy those gloves. I suffer from Reynauds Phenomenon and osteo in the thumbs and I think these gloves will give some relief. Reynauds is when the capillaries break down in the ends of the fingers. The body can be hot but the hands and fingers like ice. Need your help mate. chamings.john@gmail.com Thanks
