  • What I wonder: if this is used for a clean cool acoustic sound like at 5:16, would this sound the same using an electric guitar?

Basically: Does this sound better with acoustic guitar or does it genuinely not matter? If I’m putting some effects on my acoustic guitar, could I not just as well use my electric?

  • I own this peddle, and would like to say I love it, but… The hum makes it nearly impossible to use. I have tried all the settings in this video, and then some, but nothing stops the hum. Why is it that the peddle you demonstrate has no hum? Frustrated in Michigan.

  • I think in this video they did not show what's maybe the most useful application for this: going from an acoustic sound to a blended one like an additional electric guitar came in on the background (strumming)

  • omg. a pedal that is actually doing something different. i could see an acoustic act using this to beef up some blues or leads. i so the opposite, using an acoustic simulator on an electric

  • good video i recently got one of those i put a 9v battery in it because the adapter makes a lot of noise it was hard for me to put the battery in and now i can't get it out, any advice?

  • I’m sorry but sounds horrendous. Woofy and muffled. Here’s an idea. Make an amp/cab sim with blend knob and let me add my own overdrive

  • How effective would this pedal be going through a mixing board/pa system as opposed to an amp?

  • Really wanna try plugging the uke into this!! The pickup comp knob could probably get it sounding really neat.

  • Can I use this for fishman piezo pickup on violin? I want overdrive sound for my acoustic violin too

  • Wonder how that sounds on a Fender Acoustasonic Telecaster, I have one, and I am looking for some distorted sounds too.

  • If you had told me about this without letting me hear it, I would’ve thought it was the stupidest idea. But it sounds great. ????

  • i just got one of these, it is pretty good compared to using a tubescreamer as the TS is fizzy and not quite right for acoustic. Thing i dislike about this is the drive knob- from 0-12 oclock there is nothing, it just turn the volume all the way down really, its not til 12oclock it gets the dirt, so really you have half of this knob doing anything. i would like to see the full range from very light to even more heavy, the heaviest isnt heavy enough in my opinion. alo the actual pedal clicker button- that is horribly tough to press, not good for a quick stomp to change in the middle of a song. My NUX Atlantic which sits next to it has the same type of switch and are smooth as, i will look to replace this switch on the fender. i like the blend function, that could be useful. Ultimately i think it is good because it has that cabinet emulation which is what distortion on an acoustic needs- perhaps in future they could ad a few different cab options like other cab sim pedals on the market. i hope fender reads this and takes on board these points. overall is good for giving dirt to an acoustic sound wise and that is what im all about. Sound! Tone!

  • At 6.15 if they had turned a little bit down the blend knob, they would have showed exactly what this pedal si meant for

  • I love this pedal! The bad thing on it is the switch: it's a torture!

It so hard to push, and it sounds horrible.
Fender has made lot of amazing things in this last times, and something to improve is that horrible switch.

    All the rest, awesome.

  • This would be perfect for The Man Who Sold The World on acoustic. Just turn the pedal on for electric sounds and turn it off for the verses.

  • I got one for one to use with my martin I had a brain fart one day to run my LP standard through it and was blown away

  • hi great video. will this work with electric guitar as well. i'm looking to blend my distorted sound with my clean electric guitar tone

  • I bought this pedal for my ukulele… and I love It! ????
I think it's discountinued now, so I'm gonna keep mine, I don't think other companies make another pedal like this ????
Edit: This pedal could be really helpful for those blues guitarist who use that "F" holes guitars that produces a lot of feedback

  • I have an internally pickup acoustic it works fine but my cling on pickup will not work through this pedal anybody know why?

  • So many milquetoast peeps in the comments going "burt why use overdriiive on acoustic!?!?!? Is not electric guitar! My cover version of Take It Easy would be ruined!!!!"

  • I've seen a few of these reviews now, yet none of them review using this pedal on an Acoustasonic Tele (like mine) or and Acoustasonic Strat. Well guys…?

  • The blend knob is key. When I mix acoustics, I like to blend in a harmonic exciter just enough to where you don’t notice the distortion but miss the sparkle when it’s off. This could do that, and with even more control over the tone. But I don’t think I’d ever turn the blend knob past like 9 o’clock. Eek.
