Smooth 9th And 7th Chords You Need To Know
A look at more essential chord vocabulary. I find that the best way build a more substantive system for working with chord shapes is to begin to understand their role within a key. Hopefully learning these scale sequences is helping with that!

Excellent video!
❤????????????????????????????
Good video but I would’ve liked to see all of the 9 chords. Making dissonance work is one of the best parts of music making
Thank you, really appreciate this! keep it up <3
Thanks for sharing!!!
Short and sweet!!! Thanks.
I love 7th chords and 9th. But if i know open chords too its even more majestic
wtf Chords is that i don't get it ????
These shapes are moveable right?
Trevor you arw the most underrated teach on youtube. This is a really great way to deliver chordal lessons. Thanks for sharing bro. Big hi from Edinburgh scotland.
sick
Hi Trevor can you do a vid with 11 chords?
Nice. ????????????
Underrated video.. apply those chords names and shapes to any key and avoid the degrees where 9ths aren't used and baby you got a write-in-any-key stew goin
Thanks Trevor. I really enjoy these slower videos where you have a little chat and on screen tabs and stuff. I know they take more time to make and I just want to say I appreciate these videos my dude.
I dont think the difference between 7ths and 9ths should focus on dissonance, probably more just with that the C# in a Bm9 isnt in G major etc
Thanks sir for your tutorials you inspired us all …more power!!!
Hey Trevor, how are you? Love this lesson dude, any chance you could further explain why the 9th would be too dissonant for some chords, any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks 🙂
Anybody know how to do a major ninth or minor ninth voicing from the e string?
Thank you for your wisdom it really helps me find inspiration with singing and songwriting
Hi Trevor
