  • They’ve had some issues with ebony cracking on each side of the inlay, and it seems like yours is cracking in the same place. I love my Solar but it has a roasted maple board.

  • I don't trust any of the gear review guys, and some of the fake playing I see them doing….
I have full confidence and trust in what Marty does.
This is essence of being a guitar player stuff.

  • For starters. You take very good care of your equipment. Still looks like new. This guitar looks fantastic and sounds even better. I see why you wanted it. I’m guessing you won’t find one of those at Sweetwater. I appreciate the equipment profile videos. I learnt me something.

  • Thanks for the overview and demo! Can you let us know which amp and effects you are using (chorus, reverb, delay, tremolo, etc.)? So cool!

  • Dude! Totally happy to see this. I grabbed a Solar V (for the Metal) and I actually love it. For 800ish (USD) it was totally worth it. I love yours man, gorgeous guitar.

  • Wow that was great, I love your you tube site and always look forward to your new videos, but this one just knocked out of the park. Thank you.

  • Well it sounds good lol. Unrelated matter.. I picked up a Kramer pacer classic as a practice piece for refretting. Gonna put stainless frets on it, upgrade the pots, put original Floyd bridge and nut, put some Seymour Duncan’s in it, and maybe some gotoh locking tuners. I’d rather practice refretting on a 279 dollar guitar than my San dimas or 5150 or Wolfgang special.

  • I’ve been thinking about a Solar but I haven’t seen anything from them that I’d rather have over something like an LTD. I’d still love one of these, just a ton of competition in that price point. Great video man!

  • Really nice guitar. I've seen it in some other videos but didn't know anything about it. I think black hardware would look good too but the gold is cool. Try to stay warm this weekend. I see yall are in the snow line.

  • Seeing that Marshall mini stack behind you brings back memories. It was the first "real" amp I bought after getting tired of my Gorilla amp. lol My friend had a mini stack in white.

  • I had that one, and loved it, but it reminded me of how much I hate Floyds when changing string gages for lower tunings.

  • Awesome guitar! I'm not usually a fan of gold hardware or natural finishes, but… Damn it looks good on that guitar!!!

Awesome playing as usual sir, hats off. Have you ever considered giving lessons? I'd be very interested in taking lessons with you through Skype or some other medium if you ever decided to go that route.

  • The reviews I've seen have been positive. A veneer at this price point is expected so it's not an issue????????
